There is something strange about this last RNS IMO. Looking at the SP, the market seems skeptical overall too.

1) administration cost for the last 12 months was $778k which is $65k a month so if at the of June they had $258, now they have only around $65k of cash.

2) the copper trading business is done by a company called White Tiger Mineral Resources but bmv are not in control of this company as they only have 40% of this business, Aidan Bishop Founder & Executive Director controls nearly all the rest of it. so you would expect Aidan to pay his share of the cost but what he is doing he is took a loan of $200k last year, and a salary of $137k.

3) I made a mistake investing in this share by following blindly TW. is it possible that he is not so clean about is share recommendation? how could he recommend buying this at twice of the current share price?

4) on page 76 from last report a company called Pizza man company Ltd received 260K shares as payment for service to company. I cant find any information of this co.

Andy - I just find it somewhat grating when someone sells and then feels the need to pop up with a one-liner (or two) referring to what they deem as issues.

Absolutely no problem with a negative view of the company's prospects but given that said poster paid higher than the current share price it seems strange to state the market cap is "crazy" when it would have been higher when they bought it originally.

He sold and gave his reasons, it seems reasonable to me.

Clearly they are low on funds so unless the capital injection arrives they will have to raise sooner rather than later surely?

On what is currently known the market cap looks way too high to me, so a patient person may decide to sell and wait for the placing before deciding to buy back in at possibly a lower price.

If they do get a capital injection then that would not work of course, but that's the beauty of the market, you place your bets according to your belief.

dros1 - you appear to have a lot of class. Sell and then start deriding the company.

Hopefully the premium offer will come in above the current share price and kick you on your way out.

Still the share price gain signifies that some may disagree with you digger; also all buys (quite a number too) and no sells so far today.

I hold - dyor.

Just bought myself a sizeable chunk. Hopefully an update soon on this potential stake at a premium to the current share price but, more importantly, word on contracts for the trading arm - that's where the excitement is as far as I'm concerned.

The share price at the momenting seems to suggesting BS on someone buying a controlling stake and at a premium.

Politely speaking, investors remain skeptical. But they do get it wrong on occasion, hence volatility.

Capital injection, take remaining interest interest in batangas and drive with forward. Copper trading to fund activities in meantime..way I think this is going

The political clouds are lifting over Philippines gold miner Metals Exploration (MTL). The Manila Times reported last week that the Runruno mine has been granted permission "to start full commercial operation before the end of this year after it has complied with the necessary corrective measures". And the tough new Department of Environment Secretary, Regina Paz Lopez, is quoted as saying that the Bureau of Mines, when granting the company its certificate had proved "a way to identify responsible miners." With her imprimatur investors can afford to smile.so..Manila is most certainly open to mining.....And interestingly enough we have an offer

What else do you expects them to do? Buying a controlling stake in the open market - impossible and at what price, illiquid as it is.It's a capital injection at a premium I suspect between around 3-4p that will give investor control.Possibly a local has taken a liking to the gold project

It does sound a little unusual. If someone wanted to buy a controlling stake at a premium to the market value, would they suggest that in a letter and unsolicited?

Will be interesting to see what unfolds.
