Also hear from David Moss, CTO and Co-founder of Blue Prism and the inventor of enterprise RPA technology, who will explain how to avoid and mitigate risks and build a secure and resilient Digital Workforce. '

Just looking into the possibilities re Accenture. They announced strong growth for Q1 FY2017 i.e record net revenues of $8.5 billion up 6%.

They also have an interesting section explaining RPA on their website.

This includes a short video which explains benefits of RPA..using Blue Prism software.

Look carefully at 2:54/55 into the video and Blue Prism is clear to see.

There will be ups and downs in the SP, however as Hazl alludes to, this is a LTH. ( For me anyway! ).

I think there are many indications that this will be a very successful firm in an area that is extremely 'hot'.

I am very pleased with my shares and intend to keep a core holding through the ups and downs.
It is always a risk when you get into a completely new industry because you don't know whether you are in 'the' firm that commands a position of strength.
Unusually there are many indications already, that this firm is a bit of a stand-out in what purports to be a very lucrative sector.

I am also aware looking back at various firms that have proved to be clear-cut winners that they have still suffered at times of market stress, especially in the early stages.
That is why everybody has to play it whichever way suits them.
Circumstances could change, competitors could come forward.

However, I am looking eagerly at each announcement as it arrives and it is clear how many firms are already connected to them, the strength of their offerings are clearly sought after and their talks are in just the right places.
I could of course be wrong but
whatever happens price-wise I wouldn't be surprised if this continues to be the firm of choice and ends up being a very enterprising income generating success.

This kind of share I find hugely difficult to value. At this sort of Mkt cap I am extremely nervous. It has a fantastic product, but as yet we do not know whether that will translate into fantastic profits. I was lucky enough to be tipped this by our small cap fundy who got a load at 70p in the placing. I sold these far too early, but have traded a few times and made a very good return each time.
I will wait to see what the next results say. Their are a lot of fund managers out there sitting on huge gains. Their bonuses depend on performance, so it would not surprise me to see a few taken off the table.

Well, I think I'm only about £200 down at most. But yes, I should have just sold half last week when I realised it was way above beta and quite a long way to the results with nothing but the inauguration inbetween. I hear he's only got a Bruce Springsteen tribute band to play for him! Sad!

Timing is everything bigfella.
I think its the way people feel the need to talk it down afterwards that doesn't always go down well.
We all have different styles that we gain over the years,it's whatever works for each person really.
I used to do what bamboo does, just buying the dips, but no longer found it satisfying.
I like to try and find the next trend.
Doesn't always work of course. 8-)

It is an individual decision and whilst I have a core holding I also sometimes buy and sell outside of that.
It is difficult to know what the markets will do short-term but there are often still bargains to be had.
It is a wise man that knows himself as they say and people have to go with their own comfort-zone.

Flat-out-fred that song is feeling rather appropriate!
Actually I really like it might get a copy.

Having sold my 3k at 5.30 a week ago and obviously derided for it I feel quite smug today.

hazl, taking on board what you say about markets I sold my remaining lot of PRSM today just under b/e. Markets closed Monday, Donald day Friday, I thought it might be wise to go into next week with some spare cash. GLA

It is all the uncertainty in the background that is affecting shares generally don't forget.
I think it is sometimes wise to protect yourself before upheavals in the economic environment.
Easier said than done of course.

And only 465 to buy

I tend to not look in much on Fridays for many reasons....but certainly have found it is easy to worry more about trades.
On a different note.

reminds me of an earlier posters comments......

I wish I had had some more patience but in the other direction, I took out a long position at 500 after seeing it drop from 540, then picked up a few more shares at 490.

Im expecting it to level out at about 490 now ahead of results, but who knows???

Yep. Should have had more patience, less fear and not sold but I have never been in a tree-shake so large. I didn't *lose* money though, so glass half full! Hope the rest of you were (are) more sensible than me. I'm not sure there'll be any article 50 damage wobaguk, it's going to happen whether via Parliamentary vote or royal prerogative...
