11/1/2017 12:14 | Wouldn't be surprised if Trump talks things up,perhaps they will be able to keep things going for a couple of months yet. | hazl
11/1/2017 10:25 | fascinating | hazl
11/1/2017 10:04 | "Markets could go either way" Yes and in the DOW's case that will mean down or down very very hard. However merited Trumps intentions are that is a bubble created by low interest rates and company buy backs that has to burst before they can move on. It took all the US presidents in history to take the US National Debt to $10 trillion, Obama doubled it in just 8 years and the lame duck signed off last night telling America they are much better and stronger thanks to him. If the big correction / crash happens then global stock markets will be caught up in sentiment. But the cream will rise to the top and this IMHO is almost a defensive play because in times of economic downtrends, companies will continue to look for significant savings. just IMHO ODR | onedayrodders
10/1/2017 13:05 | Markets are nervous ahead of Trump's speech. Best not bet the farm on anything at the moment,I think. Markets could go either way. IMO | hazl
10/1/2017 10:37 | sorry posted previously | hazl

09/1/2017 20:12 | Hi All, I am doing some research on this company. In the 28th June interim results, it mentions 105,269,845 deferred shares. Note: £0.01 Deferred shares were also issued in exchange for the preference shares and B preference shares as follows: deferred shares: 105,269,845 - Nominal value: 1,052,698. It's right at the bottom of the report. Could anyone please explain what these are? Also has the company got any debt? It mentions an unused revolving credit of £2M. Can't see any mention of debt in the report but it states that they have borrowings on the London Stock Exchange website (The site could be incorrect). Anyway looks a cracking company, I missed the dip this morning but might pick some up if it dips back to around £5 again! Cheers! | kryptonsnake
09/1/2017 13:41 | OT In my earlier post perhaps I phrased it badly. The Wonderloaf figures produced random numbers...from totalling sales figures with codes that could not have been broken down into useful numbers or could have had limitless combinations. They were purely used to check the validity of using the computer compared to manual workers. IMO | hazl
09/1/2017 13:08 | Thanks martin.......well it appears to be off its lows already! | hazl
09/1/2017 12:51 | hazl - much appreciate your posts on here - very helpful!! | martinthebrave
09/1/2017 12:09 | Happy for these periods of modest consolidation | onedayrodders
09/1/2017 11:48 | Again the sources you cite are of great use;it's the overall picture that forms the eventual outcome. Good to see fresh posters........welco IMO | hazl
09/1/2017 11:44 | I was prepared to buy it when nobody seemed particularly interested toggle because I had read from experts on the McKinsey report for example about which sectors and innovations would be future trends. It was a clear leader in the area they cited. Further than that I cannot say. We can only judge it bit by bit as time goes on but so far everybody in the financial sector seems to want a piece of them. Recurring revenue is a big bonus as far as I'm concerned. IMO | hazl
09/1/2017 10:55 | Just bought in here for the first time. Great chart! | dgbell7
09/1/2017 10:36 | Just bought a few more on the pull back. These will also now be very tightly held!! | martinthebrave
09/1/2017 10:34 | Hazl some irrelevant numbers to you, which are based on odd sources like Morningstar, Digital Look, Company Presentation, and the ADVFN Trading Data Source:- ' Company has some 62.2 million shares in issue. The IPO raised GBP 8.8 million in March 2016. Current market value is GBP 328 million. 51% of shares are owned by Institutions and Directors (6%) with Free float say 31 million shares On 4 days last week trading volume was 1.3 million shares with some GBP 3.2 million changing hands (assuming each deal was a discrete buy or sell then calculate volume times closing price / divided by 2) GBP 4 million changed hands for shares since Christmas and that is the H1 company revenue (GBP 4 million) when the company lost money. IF there is FY year profit on 24th Jan does that give a nice PE ratio ??? It all adds up to me like a dose of Investor Fervour, Tulip Mania, or Madness of Crowds... but then what do I know??? | togglebrush
09/1/2017 10:12 | A EGO /TOGGLE your posts reminded me of when I was a student working over the vacation at Wonderloaf. We had a strange task of feeding in what seemed totally irrelevant sales figures and codes into adding machines. Towards the end of my time there I asked my boss why we did it. He aid that I was the only one that had ever asked. It turned out it was just for the computer which was huge then, and checking numbers against it. I imagine the computers' numbers were far more accurate than ours! | hazl
09/1/2017 10:02 | £5 bottom line, I can live with that... | petewy
09/1/2017 09:58 | Anyone dismayed by today's drop should bear in mind it's still only just twice the spread (on Hargreaves Lansdowne, at least!) Anyone else here use BT investing? Do they find them good? | runthejoules
09/1/2017 09:31 | Come on bamboo2, this is a classic reversepennantbullis | runthejoules
09/1/2017 09:25 | lol, I like 50%, it has served me well! Not to say it can't go a bit lower. The 50% isn't even a fib line, it was invented/added by chartists because it was such a common retrace level. | bamboo2 |
