A record 60 million tourists visited Spain last year, so the potential market for BES's products is not limited to just the local population. Imagine the level of sales the rum could reach if this new distributor makes it available in bars and clubs throughout the main tourist destinations.

I picked up on BES when CR started to mention it on the CR thread, and now have a useful little stake, so many thanks CR!

Any other bombed-out beauties that posters here have a keen eye on?

My other two picks are both resource plays, with similar yummy charts (I am especially impressed by sustained volume...)
firstly GGP, and then MWA (I spent some time in Zimbabwe, and so have a soft spot, but also suspect that there may be a good story there economically post-Mugabe, who HAS to DIE at some point, although he has been looking more and more like Fergie - I suspect some dark arts in both cases....

Oh and my other pick is actually a large cap - First Group (FGP). lots of good signs there too, with a chunky dividend to keep you warm while you wait ( love the divi-paying basket cases.....as long as they don't cut that damn dividend!)

opened nicely. Long term is looking a different story than 12 months - 24 months ago. Excellent work by DG looking forward to hearing how Christmas trading has been.

Spain is a very important market and one which DG has experience in having headed up Diageo there. I imagine Spain includes the Balearics.

Onwards and upwards I imagine there should be additional news coming more the Christmas trading period as well.

Me too thinking of isa 2014 ...... But this is only going in one directionMaybe that trading and business update will come tomorrow On another note my local Sainsbury have restocked ....checked tonight ...... After Christmas they only has two bottles remaining ..... Now it's packed with fresh stock :))
