If it closes at this price then it's a breakout. Here's hoping for no MM skulduggery such as moving it back down before the close!

Looks like a break-out to me.

Do you think people have been reflecting on the Greene King statement and believing that people have been out there drinking a lot over Christmas?

pete, the company is going to create brands, build them up, sell them off, it is not going to end up with worthless products because it will be continuously developing new brands. My money is they will have more experimental brands like the Nordic Vodka, I mean, who would have thought of putting Gin botanicals in Vodka? Perhaps they will try them in a Rum once they have sold RedLeg (there we go, selling off a leg LOL!).

The last raising should be the last. That raising was to pay down debt and facilitate expansion. The company is forecasted to be profitable in next financial year. Currently it is cash flow positive.

So as I understand it currently the company and growth is sustainable. Without the need for additional outside cash.

In terms of 1.8 price ceiling. It is just that. Unlikely too many new holders will step in until confirmation of profitability is given or a significant new distribution agreement. Once the new holders come the price will move sharply (it already has moved a lot from the last 1p placing) 1.8p is a nice 80% move currently 1.65 is still 65% growth and it feels that the price is stable at this point. Who knows what the next move will be if we get some good positive news.

Was thinking about capacity

They may need cash to expand

The only reason a mention it is because share price stalls at 1.8p

Small placing was last November .... I don't think one is required, especially as hoped we are profitable and trading well

Well maybe we will hear more in the coming weeks & months ..... I looks as though we will have a collection of 7 or 8 brands. I'm hoping that we will get something from them soon and we get results end of March..... We a £6m market cap, this share is a steal

it is not the hope of selling off the family silver it is the potential value in the brands.

From time to time this thread discusses which part of the company's product range might be sold off for a short term profit. To me this would be like an animal stock holder selling off one leg at a time. The result would be that the remainder was much less successful and perhaps no longer even viable. I suggest that many, if not most, of the investors here would much prefer that successful products should not be sold off to third parties and that all board decisions should be directed towards growing the company strength so that the company and all its investors continue to gain value over a somewhat longer period. I do not know very much about the philosophy of our directors but I would hope that they understand and support the continued growth process. GL to all holders, pete

Look at Grey Goose Vodka sale. Don't under estimate the value of a good brand.

Diva Vodka
Blavod Vodka
Blackwoods Gin
Blackwoods Botanical Vodka
RedLeg Rum

In 1998 Grey Goose was named the best tasting vodka in the world by the Beverage Testing Institute. The company was eventually sold to Bacardi for US $2.2 billion in August 2004. That year Grey Goose was the best-selling premium brand vodka in the United States. The company sold more than 1.5 million cases that year.

Agreed 10p would be roughly £30m market capRedleg could be worth more alone if a major came in

We could easily be at 10p in a year's time (or sooner if a bid is made for RedLeg or Blackwoods).
