18/2/2014 20:08 | Many thanks for your responses guys. I genuinely appreciate all comment, whether positive or negative, as long as it is pertinent and properly considered. FWIW I added another 100,000 shares this afternoon. Not an earth shattering volume perhaps, but my total holding is now getting way beyond anything I would normally accept in another stock. I hope for everyone's sake that our mutual judgements prove to be profitable. Luckily, we should not have long to wait for further clues as at some time during the next few months we should find out whether the promise to break even has come true. I believe that this hoped-for piece of news is absolutely critical to future investor confidence. GL all holders, pete | petersinthemarket
18/2/2014 15:27 | Agreed. Remember float is low, so when they run they run. Peter, appreciate the sentiment, but you have to be patient with these, or find a new girlfriend. I sat through many many a day of zero volume - far more concerning than a bit of zig-zag around the spread. A market is starting to eventuate and the company is up to now delivering strongly. Could of course change, but where are the negatives ..... | altcell
18/2/2014 15:07 | Two big buys today. Somebody is snapping these up while they're still cheap. | dante17
17/2/2014 20:51 | No expectations Berny, only hopes. News flow keeps interest up. I get bored easily. My holding is already large (for me) but I take your point about accumulation. The spread has to be watched carefully, but I may well take further advantage of these crazy lows. pete | petersinthemarket
17/2/2014 19:56 | not sure what you are expecting PIM. We have just had a Christmas trading update. I would sit and accumulate. All is looking good. -.com | berny3
17/2/2014 16:02 | SP getting desperate for news of break even. If it didn't come, there would be a long way to fall. If anyone at BES is listening, some news, any news, would be most welcome. pete | petersinthemarket
12/2/2014 15:45 | hopeful of a bounce to 2p | glennborthwick
12/2/2014 08:57 | Early part of FYE 2015. FYE starts 1 April 2014. | charaxes1
12/2/2014 08:12 | Correct me if im wrong but im sure it was mbe by the early part of 2014?? | bigfrocks
12/2/2014 07:51 | charaxes1 "... Net revenues from owned brands increase 43% compared to equivalent period last year. Margins from owned brands continue to increase as sales of the Group's re-packaged brands develop in UK and Internationally. Group overheads reduced by 44%. Financing costs reduced by 74%. Group remains on track to achieve monthly break-even by early part of financial year. (FY15E)" | ember11
12/2/2014 00:46 | Chart-wise we should now start going back up. All imho, dyor, ATB | ember11
11/2/2014 16:50 | I think from memory break-even was forecast in early FYE 2015 so I guess we might get news, hopefully, in the next few months that they have achieved this. | charaxes1
11/2/2014 16:39 | >>Char..... Agreed. YrEnd is 31March2014; Last yrs Finals 4Sept2013; Last yrs Interims 4Nov2013. I don't know of any alternative dates for this years announcement timetable. It's a long wait without news so I hope we get some useful TU's in the meantime. GL, pete | petersinthemarket
11/2/2014 16:24 | Peter, year end is 31st March 2014. | charaxes1
11/2/2014 15:52 | >>Welsh.... Unfortunately,Finals not till September and no other TU's listed till then. pete | petersinthemarket
11/2/2014 15:31 | Lot of buying here today? CR | cockneyrebel
11/2/2014 10:46 | Just got in at 1.58 for £4k. Looking forward to final results | welshmentrader
11/2/2014 07:52 | fib retrace 38% at 1.52, 50% at 1.35. then i'd be looking for another leg up of equivalent size - as cr said a few days back. i tend to use the weekly (especially for my microcaps) charts - there are fewer gaps and they become a bit easier to read, for me anyway. | fegga
10/2/2014 18:29 | Numbers is key without numbers pointless imo | barnes4
10/2/2014 17:55 | Will try to call FD. Small co. so will prompt for an update with NUMBERS. | sjc
10/2/2014 17:42 | Incidentally, for those into japanese candles, the last few days of last week all showed spikes down to around the 1.55 level so perhaps we should have expected this today. This doesn't show on the more usual line chart of course. No panic. ''I'll be back'' as someone once said. GL, pete | petersinthemarket
10/2/2014 17:25 | nice post pete. i like the company and near term prospects too. I am happy to hold but wishes I had a better avg; will top up in the event that a bargain arises but I cant imagine that happening. 1.6m today was a good price for somebody though. | rodrod1
10/2/2014 14:34 | I can see we both agree on the spread F.... Although it makes occasional 30% share price rises it still makes even top-slicing a bit marginal if you are not dealing in £millions and even then you would have to try and shift volume in a limited market. I suspect patience is the only way with this one. Not something I've traditionally been good at. I'm not a trader personally, I'm into momentum speculation, although its rather hard to justify that claim with this stock. I like the long term story here and have been buying in over the last 6mths. With an average cost of 1.48, I'm not panicking, but it would be nice to see it moving on. With this fall I'm considering taking on a bit more stock but it's already around 15% of my holdings (at cost) so I might wait a day or so to see where its going first. (Incidentally, spreads also make stop loss levels difficult/impossible to set. Anyone here using them?) pete | petersinthemarket
10/2/2014 13:56 | The spreads kill any trading opportunities I think Pete, it's only worthwhile if you look at 5 figure+ buys but this is far too risky for that imo. I've bought in right at the sodding top so I'm not happy but I only committed a small amount and I too believe in the longer term story so I'm happy to hold these away. | funkmasterp12
10/2/2014 13:49 | With double digit percentage share price rises and falls, this seems an excellent share for traders. That is, if they can get the right b/s prices; the spreads are not always helpful. For the rest of us its all a bit tedious. IMO this stock has excellent med/long term prospects but its a news driven share and the share price will continue to frustrate with little or no news to work on. I'm in and staying in, but a bit more encouragement would be welcomed. GL all, pete | petersinthemarket |
