It's probably necessary in order for them to continue their buybacks which indicates that they are unhappy with the shareprice/discount (-20%ish)

Latest net asset value is 342.97. Share price to net asset value is therefore standing at just over 80%. This for several months was pretty constantly fixed at 85%. There has been a decent uplift today in the share prices of Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Glencore. Taking this into account, the current share price should be in the 290's.

Suspected this was way too cheap below 200. Proved a good hedge against Bret as well as a good pension dividend payer.

Totally disagree with Brexit but I cannot see how the collapse of the pound can be anything but positive for the mining sector.

I've had a warning letter from BlackRock, warning that there is a cloned firm boiler room operation, quoting their London address and calling itself BlackRock Commodities, and trying to sell shares, property, wine and carbon credits in a cold-calling operation. I thought I'd warn everyone, bearing in mind some investors in nominee accounts might not get the warning letter.

Treasury shares will be excluded from the NAV calculation, they'll only reenter it if the shares are put back into free float.
