These may not be on parity with the Bangladesh exchange shares, but will still rise (and fall) in a similar fashion.

If the company keeps growing, which I expect as exports increase exponentially the the share price will continue to move up.

They do have rights but not to the extent of ordinary shares, dual listing should have been done in the first place. 30% differential between Bangla and here.

Theses are GDR'S and not ordinary shares here, markets here will suppress value as these will have no rights.

Cash divi is very small about £4 for a year on 1000shares and stock divi that used to be 20 per cent now small too but look how much the share price has gone up.You have to be positive in your thinking combined with a healthy scepticism methinks

They have always paid the dividends in the past but they sure take their time parting with them! This has in past been a very controversial share with much expressed suspicion of the management of this which seems to be part of a larger conglomerate of companies in Bangladesh. Also the GDR status of this security has been much commented upon as its separate from the Dhakka listed stock.However this is not unusual and what is in favour of this company is that it has been outperforming. When there is a strong momentum all is usually well - need to watch out more if things go sour. But speculation this could become a new Glaxo.In Bangladesh it is still cheap to employ people that's why so many come here if only to scratch a living in curry kitchens and housing benefit ! Not the only ones of course. Those who piled in when these shares were 5p have done well - long way to catch up with Glaxo but might 500p be achievable in a few years ?

Global ageing poulations require more and more medicines.

Most (all?) heath budgets are being overloaded.

BXP provides generic drugs at affordable prices.

Exporting to over 50 countries.

More than 300 generic medicines.

This share price needs a serious re-rating imo.

Third product approval for the US market

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited ("Beximco Pharma" or "the Company"; AIM Symbol: BXP), the fast-growing manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products and active pharmaceutical ingredients, and Bangladesh's leading exporter of pharmaceutical products, today announces that it has received approval for its Metformin Hydrochloride extended-release tablets (500 mg and 750 mg) from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA). This product is the generic equivalent to Bristol-Myers Squibb's (BMS) Glucophage XR tablets (500 mg and 750 mg).

Metformin is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Annual sales for Glucophage XR in the US were $918 million for the twelve months ending 31 October 2016, according to IMS data. This is Beximco's third Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) approval since the Company's oral solid dosage facility was approved by the US FDA in June 2015."

Thanks firtashia. Do you mean Jarvis Securities (JIM)? How do you find them? I believe the ex divi date was 28/10/16.

November wasn't it. Not very clear with the stock and cash dividends. Based on par value not share price value, etc etc. Still waiting with Hargreaves for both...
