31/10/2019 10:25 | Thanks for that. Seems to be an industry wide issue. GSK has also recalled products while the concern is being investigated. | toadhall1
30/10/2019 11:41 | Great set of results. Great time to top up too while it’s so cheap. Newsflow rich period with full financials closely followed by Q1 results so we can see if the momentum is being maintained and then half year results by end of January. Imagine the dividend payout next year when 30% of earnings need to paid out in dividends. Assuming another 20% increase in earnings which seems reasonable given current quarterly run rate gives 8p EPS and a dividend payout of 2.4p at 30% payout. That’s a prospective yield of over 6%. Add to the fact the company is undervalued to the main listing. If there was ever a takeover Aim GDR’s will be marked up to the same level on top of any premium. Given the company’s asset portfolio and growth rate, a takeover by local competitors is not out of the question. | toadhall1
29/10/2019 10:52 | EPS rising by some 20% to 6.9p (translated). Cash Dividend close on 4% at share price of only just around 35p - but rising today, and not before time! Could see 50p-60p in the near/medium term and even at that still jolly cheap. I topped up today, and may well do more. Best bargain in the market, IMHO. | winnings1
25/10/2019 10:32 | May I suggest if the Dhaka and Chittagong exchanges are not currently recognised Stock Exchanges you contact/write to their London Broker to apply for recognition as I don't think it is difficult to do. It is probably because no one has applied for it in the past considering that at the moment overseas investors cannot invest directly into the Bangladesh market. | sayuri92
24/10/2019 18:07 | So I spoke to HL. They advise that to assess whether a security complies with HMRC qualifying investment rules for ISA’s, that for GDRs they look through to underlying share. As the share is listed on an exchange that is not recognised as an allowable exchange then they do not let this security be traded in an ISA. So I have bought more in my dealing account instead. There’s some guidelines if you google ‘HMRC allowable ISA investments ‘. | toadhall1
24/10/2019 09:40 | Just to add (with ii at least) the 20% withholding tax on dividends is applied whether you hold in your standard dealing account or whether you hold in an ISA. I’m not sure if there is a way to claim back but I know the UK has a treaty in place with Bangladesh, which covers dividends (see Article 10 in the link below). The treaty rate appears to be 15% (which was the rate we previously paid) – I’ve attached a response from ii when I asked about this last year, in regards my ISA holdings.. Response from ii : “Unfortunately we do not have Qualified Intermediary status in the Bangladesh market and as a result we do not receive treaty rates. Furthermore, we do not provide a tax reclaim service. This security is a Sponsored Depositary Receipt and the relevant depositary has declared the withholding tax rate at 20%”. If anyone knows of a way to reclaim/reduce the withholding tax rate in an ISA please advise – thank you. I’ll see if I can find anything further out as well (there may not be anything we can do of course). | pharma giles
23/10/2019 14:42 | I'm holding in an interactive investor (ii) ISA, if that helps. | pharma giles
23/10/2019 14:11 | I have some in an HL ISA but when I try a dummy buy it only offers to do it in the Dealing account. | bobdouthwaite
23/10/2019 12:03 | Thanks yes will give them another call. Anyone currently hold these in HL ISA? I remember being able to do dummy trades a couple of months back so I'm sure there must be. | toadhall1
23/10/2019 10:54 | Can buy OK in AJ Bell (YouInvest) ISA. | someuwin
23/10/2019 10:38 | Just tried to buy these in my HL ISA but been told I can't. Reason is they are not allowed by an HMRC list. I'm a bit sceptical about what I was told. Anyone else having similar problems. | toadhall1
01/10/2019 10:06 | I’m flattered my posts are considered influential on the market, thank you, and confirms they are indeed credible. The reality however is that very little said on these BB’s has any influence on the share price The biggest short term influence will be the end of year results announced next month . When the Q3 results were announced, on the 29th of April, the share price moved to 51p. There is no reason (IMHO) to suspect the end of year results won’t reflect the growth seen in the 1st 3 quarters, and thus potentially an improvement in share price When last year’s final year results were announced, on the 7th of Nov 18, the share price jumped by 15% on the day, and 20% from the mid Oct price of 43p (to 52p on 8th Nov). This year’s results (based on Q3 results) could show >25% growth in sales over last years. Longer term the 10 ANDA’s awaiting launch in the US (2 in-house and 8 from Sandoz) will have a greater influence on the share price (than anything I say). Typically each time a launch is announced we see a small increase in SP, and potentially all 10 ANDAs could be launched by next year. I’d be very careful Polyonks if you have gone short here, and I’m only making that assumption based on your posts coming across a little panicky/desperate, with what appears to be an agenda of keeping the share price down. I can confirm I don’t have inside info on BXP but do indeed have considerable inside knowledge of how the industry works. If I did have inside info I think you calling it out would more likely attract investors than deter them :) | pharma giles
30/9/2019 19:54 | I have not seen anything in the nature of market distortion. Share price remains remarkably low. A screening Buy, is it not? | winnings1
30/9/2019 19:20 | Pharma Giles - please can you post an email address through which I can contact you directly; I have a legal paper to serve. In the interim please don’t post further speculative and / or inside information on Beximco as it is clearly distorting the market. I strongly suggest you obtain legal representation. | ponkyonks
27/9/2019 09:51 | That should have read 20th of Feb 2019. Tech transfers + manufacture take time so hence we won’t be seeing a US launch (IMHO) in the next 12 months with these 8 products – nothing sensitive about this statement. EPS I’ve calculated (as can anyone else) from Q3 figures – very clear. Future projects on EPS are simply that, but the principle still stands that this is a long term hold with potential regular returns down the line (IMHO of course - just for clarity!) based on today’s share price . | pharma giles
27/9/2019 09:39 | All the information is in the public domain – see RNS on 20th of “ Beximco Pharma to Acquire Eight ANDAs from Sandoz”… so nothing sensitive about this. Please do your research as this can readily be bought in your ISA, as the shares are listed on AIM. You probably can’t add Dhaka shares to an ISA, but we’re not discussing that here. Surely you’re not shorting this one are you? | pharma giles
26/9/2019 21:36 | ....further please either withdraw your earlier statement regarding the 8 ANDAs or provide the contact details from whom that information was supplied so that I can check myself. Such highly sensitive information which is clearly going to drive up the share price should only be made via the LSE for London listed companies; I have made checks myself can’t find any such information released to the market. | ponkyonks
26/9/2019 20:47 | Doubtless others on this forum will check and call you out & the Serious Fraud Office will contact you soon on the insider trading information issue. | ponkyonks
26/9/2019 20:36 | "I believe you probably have a standard share dealing account; you or anyone reading this forum with a UK stocks and shares ISA can check and verify that my statement is correct." I have no idea where you have got this from but it is plain wrong | 3800
26/9/2019 20:28 | I believe you probably have a standard share dealing account; you or anyone reading this forum with a UK stocks and shares ISA can check and verify that my statement is correct. I also note that you’re claiming to have what appears to be insider trading data & publishing such information in a public space like this to play on. Bullish sentiment to benefit your own stock position. | ponkyonks
26/9/2019 19:44 | I have BXP in my ISA, who has told you it is not eligable? | 3800
26/9/2019 19:30 | Beximco isn’t eligible in a UK stocks / shares ISA so I don’t understand the basis of you4 statement “......I have this in my ISA/pension portfolio”. | ponkyonks |
