LW425, that 6-12 months is referring to immediate upside potential on a famout.
12-18 months refers to upside from drilling. Essentially drilling in 12-15 months time with 3 months drilling time and evaluate the results etc.

Discussions are on going. When a deal is actually signed is anyone's guess. Within this year hopefully.Happy with my small holding here till that deal is announced.

Look. The latest presentation for March clearly states a timeline for a farmout of 6 to 12 months.

Ties in with the placement now at 1.6p.

They wouldn't have done it if there was any realistic chance of a deal in the near term.

Come back in the Autumn maybe and buy at 1p like always happens.

Morning all - yes, its good entry point IMO if you believe that further progress will be made.

This was always going to be the outcome, contract extension without giving any further information away at a critical time.

Hasn't every period for the last few years been "highly significant" for BPC? With no progress.Still "potential partners"so no change here either.also a mid cap, major or super major (like shell lol) POTENTIAL JV partner would not be looking to secure FUNDING for a well !!A slight slip on the usual spin ??how long have Macquarie been on board and failed to even secure the "alternative asset based funding"

This is what the RNS in Aug 2018 about 'the Cessation of Exclusivity Agreement' said "Bahamas Petroleum, the oil and gas exploration company with significant prospective resources in licences in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas wishes to advise that it has received notice from the major international oil company that entered into an exclusivity agreement with the Company, effective 1 May 2018 that it will not further extend the exclusive nature of negotiations beyond 31 August 2018. Bahamas Petroleum in conjunction with its adviser Macquarie Bank, has therefore recommenced broader, asset-based discussions with third parties". Note the term 'THIRD PARTIES', no mention of the 'second party'. WHY do Idiots who have failed miserably in trying to ramp up the UKOG share price now try their luck on this bb. They are out to Con the innocent punter.

Maybe the deal-making between the oilies and BPC is a bit like the Brexit dealings... they can't find anything to agree on, except the need to reach an agreement.
