Bizarre! What is the potential synergy between 1Spatial and Avisen???? Other than the fact the M Hanke was a Board director of 1Spatial and Rivington were the brokers with Bishopsgate being the PR people. Seems strange and in a way quite desperate. I just cannot understand where the company is going, just when they had slimmed the business down they do something like this which diversifies their interests????

Bizarre

Think I might wait to see the quality of the deal if there is one and whether they raise extra cash. Hopefully it will be earnings enhancing or their current attraction as a cash rich stock will have been wasted.

Don't know who wrote the article and there were not so many details, except that they were talking about an acquisition this week. That means tomorrow! There was no clue as to what it would be, but this is already quite specific in one sense. And these guys don't like getting things wrong. Think about it. You have 13 minutes to buy some stock!!

Doubt they could get a cashcall away in this market although cheap placing might be possible.

Out of interest who wrote the article in The Times and what details were in it to make it sound like a good deal?

They wouldn't dare do a cashcall for shareholders. This will have to be funded from existing cash or by issuing paper. Either way it should provide a desperately needed breath of life.

I agree that Tom's record does not look that good recently. How does your record look? Because when I look at the small cap market I see blood and destruction almost everywhere. Anyway, this is not about Tom's tipping, its about the company Avisen

The market is reaching a critical point where certain stock prices are just too low. It does not mean that there will be an undending rally to new highs, but a significant bounce to more sensible levels can be expected in stocks that have gone too far. The real trash will stay low or keep falling. The drop has been pretty indiscriminate in the sense that both good and bad companies have suffered equally. We are reaching a moment when it is time to sort the chaff from the wheat, and that may come now with the broader market rallying significantly and looking technically stronger than it has since April.

Avisen could really use some fresh input from a new business, and in this market it should be possible to pick up a bargain, so all in all I would say that this looks like a good level and a good time to go gently back in to this company. And let's see what they come up with.

So I am in.

Article in the Times today about a potential acquisition. I had also heard this rumour and it sounds like it could be a good deal. These shares have come back such a long way that they already look very cheap at this level, so I think that its worth jumping in. I bought some shares yesterday and I am buying more this morning.

High volume yesterday tends to support the idea that something is brewing so I suspect that a few people have been lining up for good news. Any thoughts?
