08/6/2011 15:48 | Now giving you 6.8 on the bid despite advertising 6.5p. Obviously need stock but not willing to advertise such | cammy3
08/6/2011 11:29 | net cash c5p? | argy2
08/6/2011 11:13 | Latest t1ps view "Now 6.5p and making money from Avisen is as exciting as watching paint dry. But boring is good. This company has net cash in the bank and due of c5p. earnings this year will be 0.5p. Next year anything up to 1.5p is on the cards. That is why we have paid up to 7.5p to buy this stock. Put the shares on a multiple of 10 (harsh for a growth stock) and you are looking at a fair value estimate of up to 20p within a year." The 20p would be nice. | protean
08/6/2011 11:11 | THEY ARE SHOWING 6.5P but they'll give you 6.75p on the phone. About to move big time I think | cammy3
08/6/2011 11:03 | I tried to pick up another 50000 yesterday below 7p - i thought the order might be filled just before the close but nothing doing so i decided to bite the bullet this morning and paid 7.2p - this stock is like rocking horse sh#t - if the results come out in line with expectations the share price will have to move up a fair bit from here to tempt any sellers. | colva
08/6/2011 09:09 | another nice little tick up.. | tsmith2
07/6/2011 20:23 | Had to wait a few hours to get the fill from WINS. Got the initial 25k protected, but then managed to get the rest filled by the afternoon. Still got quite a wide spread. Would be nice to see it tighthen. The price moves are fairly slow but perhaps that's due to lack of awareness of the value here. Once this becomes better known then price should start shifting more strongly upwards. | protean
07/6/2011 20:17 | Well done protean - market was desperate for stock today. Lets hope we're on our way now back to 15p | cammy3
07/6/2011 15:50 | Managed to work 50k myself there. | protean
07/6/2011 14:02 | market bidding 6.55 for 150,000 and offering 10,000 max at full price. Tried to buy 50,000 but no joy at 7p | cammy3
07/6/2011 12:27 | lets say we do .5p the year to be reported and 1p this current year.. PE of 10 plus cash 5p (and growing)...15p base case.. Still think we'll reach 10p when results are released early July! | tsmith2
07/6/2011 09:01 | its the double bottom wot did it! | solarno lopez
07/6/2011 08:54 | Yes, t1ps is certainly confident and AVI is one of their largest holdings in the smaller companies fund. The stock appears to be fairly quiet generally. The wide spread might be putting some off trading at the moment. | protean
07/6/2011 08:49 | Even at 5p protean its £250,000 min. A big investment in my books | cammy3
07/6/2011 07:48 | They probably got in right at the low the other day and that's what the big move up was that day. | protean
07/6/2011 06:50 | Well if that is the slack gone this should now move away sharply. | cammy3
07/6/2011 06:14 | equally on the flip if we never had the management bust up, overhangs etc... | tsmith2
06/6/2011 23:12 | Unless there's more to come out of course. Makes you wonder where we would be without t1ps holding up the price. | argy2
06/6/2011 23:05 | cammy3 there you t1ps mopped up slack! | tsmith2
06/6/2011 16:15 | ourr man finished will a sell at 5.88 - 500,002? | tsmith2
05/6/2011 19:17 | 75% of the current share price is backed by cash/cash receivables. Profitable and cash generative. EPS for current say .4p next year say 1p.. PE of 10p plus cash = 15p target price.. Not surprised they've been adding. | tsmith2
05/6/2011 17:59 | Growth Fund Newsletter Issue 37 - June 2011 A tough month - but value greater than for a long while... The past month has not been that easy for the t1ps Growth Fund. Frustrating is the word that springs to mind. Small caps are unloved, and off the radar, as investors seek liquidity in these uncertain times. That has created an incredibly dysfunctional relationship between value and price. Price is something that can be observed and quantified with certainty, but value is something wholly different. Mr Market offers us price and he is an inefficient and irrational creature, but what about value? The key for us as investors is to remain focused and patient through tough periods. Many do not, but we take confidence from the fact that we have already seen our patience pay off in some holdings (see the companies section below). We continue to see such compelling value in our portfolio that over the past month we have taken the opportunity to snap up more First Artist, Nexus Management, Avanti Communications, Avisen, Minoan, and more recently Northern Petroleum. The latter is a perfect example of negative sentiment delivering a very attractive buying opportunity. Yes Northern has goofed but the market over-reacted badly. Having added to our holdings on the day of its recent alert we are already 12% ahead on that most recent purchase. Ultimately in the short term the vagaries of the market do determine the performance of the Fund but in the long term solid companies will have their valuations revised. We do not know when this will be but what we do know is that unlike heavily rated 'in' stocks, it is a when, not an 'if'. | cammy3
01/6/2011 09:22 | results due to early July.. ambitious - reckon we could be at 10p when the results are announced. | tsmith2 |
