25/6/2013 12:15 | Bit like you on MWA then. All is certainly not lost here imo. I am still hopeful of a positive outcome. Worst case scenario, with only 6.5m shares in issue, we may see a equity fundraising. Even at 5p not the end of the world. | christianf12
25/6/2013 12:04 | OUCH game over then ? | whereareallthemugpuntersyachts
25/6/2013 08:44 | I don't think all aim shares are bad but there are a significant number. Think i will stick with mid caps for a while as i confess i became a bit of an aim pumper and i have taken too many hits like most on the cr thread | knigel
25/6/2013 08:40 | But the trolls can pick up who might hold the shares. The holder is called Nigel and there is a 3% rns holder called Nigel who posts here. I was actually asked here or on lse if it was me and i wasn't going to lie and say no. Wish i had. There are other posters on advfn who have 3% holdings in aim shares so just stop targeting one individual of many advfn posters and i will say no more than i am a holder/seller in future | knigel
25/6/2013 08:39 | Of course its undesirable and disgraceful behaviour. My views on the AIM are well known. We are all victims of what is essentially a criminal syndicate sanctioned by the state. So for any poster to be laughing or gloating at the loss of another is an appalling affair. | pwhite73
25/6/2013 08:35 | Off to meetings so cannot continue to post if i wanted too. I take his valid point about boasting how many shares i hold and it will stop. Just dont single me out imo as i wasnt the one crowing and taking delight that a fellow investor might lose xk. I trust pwhite73 agrees this behaviour is also undesireable? | knigel
25/6/2013 08:34 | The point being is that you can't keep quiet. Many posters go over 3% but you would never know who they are because they do not link themselves to the RNS announcement. Not the case with you. Even when you do not go over 3% you still cannot resist the temptation telling the thread of the extraordinary amount of shares you hold. Keep your personal and financial information away from the thread. must dash | pwhite73
25/6/2013 08:30 | I think PWhite just about completes the collection. I knew there was one missing. He is a regular poster on stocks pre and post suspension. His small saving grace is that his posts are not always manic depressive or wholly misleading like the others. Unlike some, he seems to believe what he writes. | loverat
25/6/2013 08:23 | I did say i would post to news so please stop your gloating. As you should know you have to notify the market/company if you go over 3%. The company logs a holding rns so even if i kept quiet it is there as a rns for all to see | knigel
25/6/2013 08:20 | Sorry but avia is the only share i have gone over 3% name the others | knigel
25/6/2013 08:18 | KNIGEL 24 Jun'13 - 23:11 - 741 of 743 "From now on I will not state how many shares I hold in any share or go over 3% of the share issue..." And therein lies your problem. You have made such promises before but you can never keep them. Because as bb quite rightly points you can't resist the temptation of broadcasting your wealth and gloating at the fact that whilst most posters can only afford to invest a couple of hundred quid you can afford to invest tens of thousands. Furthermore there is no bigger ramp than to let others know you have a notifying interest in a stock. It is an act of narcissi and self-grandiose. I hope you have truly learnt your lesson. | pwhite73
25/6/2013 07:00 | Thanks Loverat, to be fair I should have filtered BB immediately. Will not post on this thread now for a few days until news and just hope Avia survives as jobs are at stakes | knigel
25/6/2013 06:44 | Well, not really read up on this company but a brief scan of previous news suggests this company has a history of suspensions. Hopefully it will come back. Amazing read of the posts since 12.00am yesterday and if anyone wanted a list of all the gloaters and trolls who operate on this site, they only need visit a thread after a suspension. These people probably have a notification service for when a AIM stock is suspended which then prompts hundreds of posts of unplesantness and gloating. It is human nature at its very worse and it is right here. | loverat
24/6/2013 23:11 | Goliard, sorry but the guy brings out the worse in me and I bite - agree best to filter him from tomorrow. BTW I been in pensions for 28 years dealing with investment assets so not a complete novice (imo). For months I have not discussed HHR or any other share with BB then he suddenly appears today on this thread to rejoice in my possible loss. I do not follow were he is posting and I would not post just to say I am happy he is losing money.. it is sad, personal and suggests he monitors my posts and were I am investing but no other ramper? Thankfully I don't spend my time looking at certain profiles to work out what they are buying/selling or whether they are making or losing money.. I am not that sad.. He bears a grudge and has only appeared as I have had a bad day... no mention of CF12, or any other poster who has supported AVIA or any other share I hold. Strange that... From now on I will not state how many shares I hold in any share or go over 3% of the share issue - less info for the trolls to have their nasty personal digs while keeping quiet about their holdings.. | knigel
24/6/2013 23:04 | Nigel, you do yourself no favours saying things like 'my very high salary'. Some people here could buy and sell you. | goliard
24/6/2013 21:40 | But you're a pensions administrator, non? What do you call a "very high salary"? lolol | britishb
24/6/2013 19:01 | Unlikely since I pay into my stakeholder pension every month and still have 15 years to retirement. Oh, and believe it all not, I am learning. No more having 70% of my SIPP in one share (HHR).. now any one share is less than 10% of my SIPP including AVIA so it will be a big hit but not as big as if HHR had gone bust so I suppose I am grateful for your advice at the time about having all my eggs in one basket. It is a dozen eggs now! | knigel
24/6/2013 18:58 | There's only one thing (a human) that I'm very confident will go bust,,,, | britishb
24/6/2013 18:09 | Will TLY or UVEL go bust? Or CRAW? PAA is risky.. and I am quite happy to state I invest in high risk small cap/AIM shares. The whole market is down especially AIM and SOME of my DOGS will recover in time... but to show delight in others losing money is simple not on imo (so you are not gambling in ELCO then?) | knigel |
