23/7/2016 08:46 | It would be useful to know where Mehmet Nasif Gunal sits with relation to Erdogan in the aftermath of the failed coup in Turkey. Does anyone have any information on this? Serious questions are being asked about whether the coup was staged by the regime to strengthen its own position. With democracy being threatened, the positioning of the MNG group within the regime may have a significant effect upon our fortunes here at AUE. | shavian
21/7/2016 14:14 | The old management is out and new, experienced people have replaced them. | pixi
21/7/2016 09:02 | The 23rd of June the rns stated that the processing plant had been re-vamped/upgraded with larger gravity screens, a full heavy duty reline of ball mill and increase oxygen to detox unit. With Q2 results in about 12 trading days time......we'll get a clearer picture of the progress to date. | htrocka2

18/7/2016 11:59 | "FINAL TRANCHE OF EQUITY FINANCING" The word "final" catches my eye. It's the final tranche, yes honestly, no more placings, no more equity, honestly we really mean it this time, I mean we really really REALLY mean it, cross my heart and hope to die. | arf dysg

18/7/2016 04:51 | Perhaps the reason that the share price didnt budge was because this deal has been in place for over a month. Price was set before Brexit, so under current forex rates the conversion works out at 3.43p. | miamisteve
16/7/2016 21:43 | Q2 Results in about three weeks time....we'll have to see what they come up with. | htrocka2
16/7/2016 19:56 | Should we expect a re-rating down to 3.2p next week ? I thought previously that this 'takeover' was in AUE's interests and could assist massively with ramping up Production and improving the share price by year-end? | pottermagic2310
16/7/2016 14:01 | .....and on the bright side, TSX took the news well as it came during mid session and no sell off. The 12% promissory note has been converted into shares. With the continual previous debt referral this was already technically in default and headed for the bondholders yard. With no debt, we're told that production capacity is to be increased, possible by as much as 50% and the price of gold is up over $100 since Reading sailed into head winds. I say give the new lads a chance...unlike the '0ne man' band approach by Reading, this is now in the hands of experienced professionals. In August 2014 there were about a third of billion shares in issue, the market cap then was circa £75m (24p a share)..and the price of gold then was $1200 p/oz. With three times as many shares and POG now being close to $1350 it's current M/Cap is £29m. | htrocka2
16/7/2016 09:53 | Oh dear, there goes what used to be my most promising investment - African Aura. First Aferro, and now this, snaffled by greedy thieves. This will be taken private in due course, through the process of endless dilution. | shavian
15/7/2016 21:26 | AIM BOD need taking out an shooting IMO...just a load of untrustworthy gits...feathering their nests without any consideration for shareholders. | beeezzz
13/7/2016 12:03 | Looks like sell 1m shares.... | beeezzz
11/7/2016 15:50 | Be patient with JLP. Platinum will start a significant rerating in the coming months as the sector moves from over supply to under supply. Also interesting microcap gold play worth looking at CGNR, fully diluted market cap around 6m gbp and without geopolitical risk with discoveries in Ireland. Have about 10k in each of conroy and Jubilee, both potential 10 baggers. | miamisteve |
