What are you talking about? Its a Bank Holiday in the UK but not in Canada. You will get this information in an RNS at 07:00 tomorrow.

However, they are still just deferring the problem, rather than resolving it. Discussions obviously continue towards a long-term solution and shareholders are not out of the woods yet.

I do not think so! A material change (debt repayment) requires an RNS. We cannot be certain what has happened until we get an RNS. Meanwhile pog is a stonking $1288 per oz!!

pog hit $1278 this morning. It will be a paradox if AUE cannot pull off a fair deal with the bankers after all the challenges they have had when gold was struggling.

Will be astonished if we don't hear something reasonably positive, assuming Production has been going well, highest Gold Prices have been realized in the Market and financiers can see the Company is progressing in a positive direction on a sustained basis... fingers-crossed

With pog at $1267.2 oz, it is surprising if AUE has not been able to secure a deal with banks. Once we know what that is the price will move accordingly.

May be a lot of unhappy people tomorrow for panic selling today or are they people in the know, I suspect not, as I recall the last news on debt referral came a day after payment was due, still hoping for positive news first thing in the morning though, guess we'll know soon enough, good luck holders!

I'm still expecting a mini surge towards $1400...although there is some resistance around $1350.
I think this consolidation phase is probably nearing its end so we may know one way or the other quite soon.

Thank you for enlightening me! However, I am minded that with the complexity of all these committees that there should be a steering group with overall authority to direct and coordinate the deliberations of these committees. I will volunteer to serve on such a steering group to protect all our interests.

Meanwhile, when can we expect serious guidance from our CEO? I am yet to receive any response to my note to him two days ago.

horneblower, how do you see chart for POG now? I have seen recent comment that it may backtrack or mark time a little now.

Aureus has formed a second committee to review the strategic options for the first committee.

Aureus has formed a third committee to guard against possible conflicts of interests between the first two committees, since the first and second committees are composed of the same people.

The third committee will take, in lieu of payment, massive share options for its work in analysing the first two committees.

Members of the first two committees will not be awarded any share options, as this might lead to a perception of conflict of interest.






By an astounding coincidence, the third committee is composed of the same people as the first and second committees, but they are set up to operate on an arm's-length basis so there will be no conflict of interest.

We await to hear of another promise from AUE. RNS of 2/2/16 stated: 'AUE has formed a special committee to conduct a review of strategic options to enhance shareholder value.....'

Does anyone have a clue as to what this committee is achieving? I would love to hear from you!

Have just sent a note to DR asking when shareholders can expect to hear from this committee.

We live in hope! Meanwhile POG jumps around but is yet to clear 1240.
