Just had a listen to the podcast. Tony says he has "known Pete for many many years" so no doubt he is the right man for the job. I notice on his LinkedIn profile he left his last position in October and has been "having a rest". Maybe this has been lined up for a while.

Most mining financing deals see 30% equity and 70% loan.If we could get the equity component away at say 12p (say 500M shares for £60M?) that would set the company up nicely to be well into the 25-30p range when full production gets underway, IMO. If copper were to rise to $4/lb then 30p+ probably.No advice intended

Indeed i liked that and a hint there to possible debt/equity split with banks knocking on the doorAs he pointed out he has a top team now which goes along with the engineering tram he brought in for the BFSHow many AIM companies make it to mid-tier or more.I truly believe Asiamet will and you can see why Steve Hughes says share price should be 15-25p right now

I think its a really good thing for the company, tony was spread to thinly off to china talking to potential investors then back running day to day, he can focus now on financing and his network and let the new CEO run the day to day activities of the BFS, licenses etc etc.If anything i think ARS was being held back by tony juggling too many balls.Good to see Indo mining conceding to Freeport in exports for a year, bodes well for other mining licenses for that that shall not be named!

I know Peter Bird is not Colin Bird. I just wondered if they were related e.g. brothers. It's not a common surname, and to have two in the mining world struck me as unlikely. Anyway I suppose it doesn't really matter.
