We are due a trading update here next week ,so although i do have my reservations about the share incentive scheme it does bode well with the amount of employees buying shares this week

love it, 'today' suggests 'new'. The ASH web site has no mention of Ryde, at least going back to January 2013.

My information is that this will rapidly move from pipeline to active. Expect an RNS in the next three months.

Coming soon, found today for Ashley Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight:

Warner Group exchanged contracts with Wadham College Oxford on the site in Oct 2014 and in the interim they have obtained change of planning consent for use as an elderly retirement village with an affordable home element which has recently been valued at £5m by JLL. Full planning granted for the creation of 46 affordable Houses, 80 Extra Care apartments and 55 Retirement Bungalows. The land will be divided into 3 separate plots; 2 of the 3 plots will be sold to Ashley House Plc (hxxp://www.ashleyhouseplc.com) for upwards of £3m. The intention of the Warner Group is to retain one plot to build out themselves and the other 2 will be built out by AH Plc. It is the intention to exchange contracts with AH Plc shortly after completing their purchase and separating the titles. Ashley House Plc have agreed a long term tenancy agreement with a Housing Association to take on all of the units once completed. There is significant demand for elderly care home facilities on the Isle of Wight

Just bought back in 20k at 8.95p friend just tipped it to me. Did very well out of
this one last year sure I sold for 13p+ having paid similar to today.

There was a trading update in May last year, not sure if there's any new news though. I did ask Tony about those incentive options they announced a couple of weeks ago and apparently employees have to stay 3 years to qualify unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Doesn't sound like good or bad news to be honest. The usual bungled announcement by politicians creating uncertainty whilst they discuss the merits of this and that without actually making a long term decision. Suspect they will still be able to progress schemes, but who knows? Oddly timed Chairman share purchase!

It's kicked the can down the road 12 months but doesn't appear to give the ideal level of assurance for those building and financing Extra Care facilities although there are hints at an eventual longer term solution.

We've already had the Interims (26th Jan). From memory I think the 2015 Interims were delayed.
