Not when I had a look. I've held since it fell in the commodities fallout, held and added at the bottom and am happy to hold on the ups and downs of a new commodities bull market.

The flag can be down sloping. I can't be bothered selling any as it is a bun fight to buy back in any quantity.

So what has caused the fall?Do not tell me about gaps ..Does this Company need cash?... only thing I can think may cause this failure to move above 2.5p after a few attempts ... many are unexpectedly raising cash on price recoveries , even though there is no obvious reason initially

casa - One metric worth keeping an eye on is the price/book ratio. Three years ago it was around 1.0, it is currently about 0.4, so an unwinding of that would give a share price of around 5p (and the currently reported book value is probably underestimated). Not saying this will happen but ASA represents a good value play in my opinion. Hope that helps.

"It is a producer of gold , nickel and diamonds"

Probably producing some quite nice steaks at the moment as well.

Casa - I suggest looking back through the posts, and reports from the Company and making your own decision.

Chartwise Nickel is in the same place ASA was from 0.9p to 2.8p i.e. a 'melt up' zone where there was very limited resistance and the stock just seemed to melt up on no real new news

The Nickel 'melt up zone' with no resistance is in the $5-$10/lb range which doesn't sound like much but put it into per tonne terms and you're looking at a move from $11,000 per tonne to $22,000 per tonne

At 65% of $22,000 = c.$14,000 vs AISC c$5,000 per tonne
= cashflow of c.$70m p.a.

At 85% of $22,000 = c.$19,000 vs AISC c$5,000 per tonne
= cashflow of c.$110m p.a.
