In fact it is so boring, I can't even bring myself to visit the thread..

Loverat predicting 6p/3p for TGP by March 2006. Another dismal failure, a pattern repeated on many threads.

VS - You really do take everything so seriously don't you?

I don't really care about TOAD. It is a very boring stock and never
looked likely to be going anywhere...

In fact, there are many companies where I have made a handsome profit
but the company has later hit difficulties.

That is the nature of the AIM and the successful AIM investors are the
ones who Review, Research, and are Ruthless (Loverat's 3 R's for
successful investing....)

Timing is all important. I invested in HCEG in the early days and sold
half my holdings at the 1.30 high....admittedly I held on too long and
sold the other half at about 70p but was still in profit..(Now they are
12p)

I currently hold LEAD and RCG. These are both relatively new stories which
is why I am in them....because they are NEW and just coming to the attention of the market because of impressive results..

But I don't kid myself....it is very likely that at least one will warn sometime in the future....by which time Loverat will be long gone....

However, it is very unlikely that any warning will be yet and the next few months on both looks exciting.

I have just reviewed the note...

It does not look at all good...

- Debt
- 2006 FY forecasts downgraded.
- Recent order will have virtually no impact on profits due to tight
margins.
- Profits may improve beyond that but as VS says 'as long as forecasts
are met' , which on past performance seems doubful.

I think over the medium term we are looking at a fall in the share price My
revised target for March 2006 is 6p. (3p if there is another profit
warning before then)

The number of posts you are making on this thread suggests you didn't sell before the warning :-)

How many times do I have to tell you?

The posts you and MrBa5hir keep posting are 6 months old. Unlike you,
I do not buy and hold and I sell if the story changes.

I think your substantial losses on WDNY and TGP demonstrate that your
investment strategy is seriously flawed.

The warning signs were there and it was always likely that that a warning
would be issued at some stage.

The growing and very profitable Home Entertainment Division now makes
up the majority of the business but the increase in sales/profits
has not been able to make up the shortfall from the Auto side...

As I stated earlier and as you have said, the problems seem to be due to a
general slowdown rather than anything company specific. I think these
will bounce back in due course - this is a good company overall.

You are right ratty!

EKT came out with a similar statement and then came out with record results.

I dont hold a position here as i have some large holdings elswhere however this is on my monitor and it looks good from my standpoint.

Looks like you did well to take profits ratty. New car sals down about 10% recently. Bad news for anyone involved in the automobile sector.
