19/1/2006 20:54 | This will be a welcome boost to the Auto Division where conditions continue to be tough( although AMR at the last update was coping well) Home entertainment side of things should continue its impressive growth. Plenty of excellent products in the pipeline. | haystack iv
19/1/2006 20:49 | Nice contract win. AMR has shown time and time again that it can win substantial contracts and repeat orders with prestigious companies like BMW and Rolls Royce etc I bought some of these only the other day! What good timing. | haystack iv
19/1/2006 10:31 | Agreed. Seems a reasonable company to hold for the time being and I'm looking forward to seeing how their xmas trading went via Halfords for satnavs etc. | ptgint
19/1/2006 10:22 | ego tom agree, held these and traded since 1988, haystack and co just ignore them, they have spouted their rubbish before on other stocks i hold only to see them rise over 50% after their silly doomed etc stories. AMR good company good management nice dividend winning orders from very well respected clients rolls royce for one and also two growth mkts they are in. Also very influential non exec under southwind holdings. dyor of course regards active | srpactive
19/1/2006 08:47 | Could we try and return to a sensible discussion of this company. If you look at their website you will see that they now have some very well respected brands and are obtaining quality contracts from the likes of BMW. There may be differing views on the likely growth prospects of the company but the childish rants over the last couple of months are of no interest to anybody except the couple of people involved. Grow up and discuss this company in a serious and considered way. | tompion
19/1/2006 08:22 | Bad news for pretty little Holly. Looks like her shorts will have to be removed - naughty girl, she'll have to cover her bush somehow lol But very good news for AMR. Major Contract win. New highs and breakout soon? Armour Group plc's ('Armour') subsidiary Armour Automotive, has received a further order from Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft ('BMW AG') to supply its unique rear seat entertainment system designed for the BMW X3 model. The system was developed by Armour's VEBA team working in conjunction with BMW Group with the first order being completed and delivered in 2005. The value of this order is in excess of US$670,000 with deliveries scheduled to start in March this year. Commenting on the announcement, George Dexter, Chief Executive said: 'We are delighted to secure this new order from BMW, which underlines the Company's expertise in providing in-car audio visual entertainment systems to the automotive sector'. | egoi
18/1/2006 17:11 | Looks ready for the next peg up. Hold on to your hats! | haystack iv |
