Sorry but that was the rumour last year. Why have these moved up so sharply recently then theband? And who was the buyer of the 12.75m shares on Feb 25th?

Well it's ticking up again - if there is a bid it will have to be 70p+ imo, possibly a lot more.

the 100K and 175K at the close looks interesting no?

That's a keen buy days before the results.

The large volume a fortnight ago is what was really interesting tho imo.

trades today show in excess of 400k were bought. the market is very nervous in general. if cr is right we could be on a fabulous winner come thursday.

maybe ladbrokes are going to buy arena and northern leisure, to combat the turf tv people.
seems to me ladbrokes and william hill need to do something because if turf tv did a similar deal with arena and northern leisure as they have done with the blue riband courses the price for pictures would be crippling.

A report indicated at the weekend that a Mr Hemmings owned a decent stake in Scot & Newcastle is he the guy with near on 30% of this ? Anythoughts ?
