                        ARC GROWTH COMPANY VCT PLC



The directors of Arc Growth Company VCT plc are pleased to announce that there
has been a significant increase in the Net Asset Value ('NAV') of the Company
since its last published figure as at 31 August 2006.



This increase has been due largely to the successful flotations on the
Alternative Investment Market ('AIM') of two of its investments, Consolidated
Vending plc and Traction Technology Holdings plc ('TTH') in December 2006.  A
third AIM-Listed investment, Arc Fund Management Holdings plc, has also
experienced a 300%+ price increase since its flotation in July 2006.



Part of the enhanced investment performance has been realised by a part-disposal
of the Company's holding in TTH through the sale of shares at the flotation
price of 28 pence per share equating in value to the amount of the initial
investment of #150,000 via a pre-IPO sale Offer in December 2006.



The last published NAV at 10 October 2006 was 117.3p compared to subscription
price of 100p and represents a 24.1% uplift in NAV since the Company was listed
in April 2005.
