AMC will not be taking this project into production or agreeing any construction financing or off take agreements, that's not to say they won't line options up though. They are setting this project up for a straight takeover and will leave the big decisions to those with better bargaining power.Anything that indicates a sale or possible bidding war could be close and this will rocket because that will probably be the last info prior to an NDA and subsequent trading suspension and takeover RNS. It's close Obviously all in my opinion

Gizmo has been posting cut & paste rubbish for years, still not stopped the S/P falling to record lows as share finance deals become the only saurce of income, no JV or partner have shown any interest in funding the $1 billion to production!

"If it's copper and cobalt assets in Congo we'll consider it but we are not considering other places (for cobalt) for the time being," Cao said. Some discussions are already taking place over such investments, he added, without elaborating.

On the nickel side, the company is considering upstream investment in countries including Australia, Russia, Brazil and Canada, Cao said."

BELtd , your post 125. You say AMC would not need the city institutions. Well if RY does not need the city institutions then why would AMC need a BFS ?
I think most holders here would be very happy if it is a full T/O.
Would the Russians be happy with a full Chines T/O? I think a Russian Co would be a preference by them. If AMC has to go as far as the BFS then a few more years wait !!
I don't think the Russians would want this to drag on for much longer IMO.
We will just have to show patience and see how it all pans out in the future.

AMC has made more out of share finance deals than it ever will out if mining, yes a true definition of a death spiral if one was ever needed.

BE nice to hear from you, and Bwana agreed nice to see a sensible thread. I was also pleased to hear RY is in China this week meeting Jinchuan, and very much agree the offtake agreement, smelting agreement is close and very likely the delay in the PFS. I am sure it would be an agreeable exit point for Riverfort who would do nicely. Continued decline in Nickel stocks.....the majors will be watching
