25/9/2005 13:04 | Looks like we are going to have an informative first half of October. How do the Puma & Balu drills compare with the previous succesfull drills in size and what reflection will this have on the shareprice? Balu Well The Balu well, located in the Middle Magdalena basin, spudded on September 16, 2005. This well is expected to take approximately two weeks to drill with an additional 10 days required to conduct drill stem tests in the event that hydrocarbons are encountered. The Balu prospect is based on a shallow (less than 3,000 ft.) structure of considerable size. This prospect is supported by modern reprocessed seismic data and the confirmation of thick and high quality reservoir facies as provided by a nearby previously drilled well which was located outside the limits of the Balu prospect. Risks in the Balu area derive primarily from the requirement for a fault seal to trap hydrocarbons. | new2stks
23/9/2005 08:50 | The chart looks nice, we should se a blue day today if the trend carries on. | hashbrown

22/9/2005 10:53 | If we push on in Canada today then we should see a really nice rise. | hashbrown
21/9/2005 19:05 | Dalesman, I have contacted ADS on a number of occasions as I hve been reliably informed that we had encoutered oil shows, they simply told me they were testing. We shall see, but I think Puma is going to be a very big success. | hashbrown
21/9/2005 18:55 | During the drilling of the deepest section of the well and prior to penetrating the full target reservoir section the drill string became stuck in the bottomhole section. The well has been plugged back and the bottom 600 ft. of the holewill be re-drilled. In the event that no further mechanical problems areencountered, the Company expects to have log and test results in early October,2005. Does this imply that some of the target section was penetrated? And is it a leap of faith to think that this revealed oil shows? If so the descision to continue looks positive Just a thought! 21/9/2005 14:11 | Hash, Took a very small hit early on this morning, on the basis that I anticipate Canada reacting negatively to the news, thus allowing me to get back in cheaper a bit later on Tone | tonester30ccfc |
