26/8/2009 21:07 | naaa yer not that popular! :-P | itsaduster
27/4/2009 17:35 | Think as i'm so popular i might re-open my thread :-)) | 8trader
03/4/2009 10:37 | JTCOD IS A GENIUS | topgunns
30/10/2008 10:28 | Cheers LPF I will migrate across there but would just point out to 8trader that the AGM statement stated that interims would be on 8th December 2008. GT | goonertone
30/10/2008 10:11 | Thread with new epic here: | lpf
30/10/2008 09:36 | Now would be a good time for results, that 10k caught my eye and a quick check online shows the mm's appear to be short (15k v 1.5k). | 8trader
30/10/2008 01:18 | I doubt there will be a rabble following ....none even bother here now let alone on a MUBL board than many will not know about as the new name. | davidosh
29/10/2008 19:32 | Was going to do one but would prefer a premium user who can keep the rabble off the new thread to start one please ! | 8trader
29/10/2008 17:54 | I think we will need a new board and charts as the ticker is now MUBL | davidosh
29/10/2008 15:56 | Just realised why MM's are gone. I guess one was Teather and Greenwood and the other was Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander both placed in administration as part of the Iclandic banking implosion. This leaves AMU/MUBL with just 3 MM's could get a little bit hectic if any news does get announced. Anyone for a new board or has everyone changed the old stock market adage to sell in May and stay away...for good. GT | goonertone
17/10/2008 11:29 | Sort of AMU sorry MUBL related. Has anyone else noticed the phenomenon of the missing MM's. A couple seemed to have got lost on the way between AMU and MUBL and on another stock I follow ASE one of the MM's went missing around the same time. Is it just coincidence or is it happening on other stocks? GT | goonertone
14/10/2008 14:05 | Not yet. Lisa is already fed up with my whinging about the lack of clarity re the bid. Because of their response to my queries I sold my trading shares for now and just kept those in my SIPP. Will add again at some point in both but no rush to get back in in the current climate. GT | goonertone
14/10/2008 13:00 | Indeed and new epic will be MUBL Did you ask the company why the website and search link were not ready for the fanfare ? | davidosh
14/10/2008 11:57 | I despair sometimes at companies lack of foresight with regard to media and new media outlets etc. Surely you would a) Choose a name that isn't already used by half a dozen other companies b)Have your website and search link up to date on the day that you fanfare your change of name. They were meant to be undergoing a website update. Why not hold off on the announcement until the website is ready to be relaunched and do it all in one go. GT | goonertone
11/10/2008 08:15 | That could indeed happen 8tr; it already has with SFT! Sinosoft really worth a look - I hold ; dyor. | philjeans
10/10/2008 17:10 | Amazed at that take out price Phil. When announced the market completely ignored it and the price failed to move from 25p so amazing result there. I'm getting a little tingle to just how low Amu might get dragged down in this market, soon it might get to the point providing the cash generation continues where year end will show market cap same as cash, it could easily happen here and i will be patiently waiting to buy more. | 8trader
10/10/2008 09:35 | Still holding here for the inevitable bid/divi/expansion track; all or some of which will produce a multi bagger over time. Just received my fourth successful bid of the year with a knockout 55p cash for Abacus; joining EUSP, NCH and GNE. Good year so far for bids and still hopeful for Neteller, ATLANTIC COMPUTERS and Medical House. | philjeans
06/10/2008 13:38 | hiding behind advisors IMO....they do not have to name the bidder just explain what happened to the bid ? | davidosh
06/10/2008 13:22 | Thanks Dave | goonertone
06/10/2008 12:08 | From memory they quoted the opinion of their 'advisers ' without saying it was a legal or accountancy connection. | davebowler
06/10/2008 09:31 | "The bid they 'could not discuss'" Did they explain why they could not discuss it and who advised them? GT | goonertone
03/10/2008 19:15 | Buybacks are very sensible at these levels but they will need the restructuring to be complete and also shareholder consent. Was that consent one of the resolutions today out of interest ? Any idea if the large shareholder with 12% attended ? | davidosh
03/10/2008 18:46 | thanks daveb. Quite helpful bits and pieces! :) | edmundshaw
03/10/2008 17:57 | I forgot to mention they did say they were looking at share options as an method of aligning Execs' interests with shareholders- also buying back their own shares, too is a possibility. | davebowler
03/10/2008 17:48 | davebowler, many thanks for updating us, the only downside is the huge salaries but at least they know that. | crawford |
