31/10/2011 19:24 | Hi FD When I look to invest in a company the first port of call is the Company website, it often has very interesting information. I recall finding the Hybridan note on Summit on their website. It would be nice at some point in the future if a "note" appeared on the AGI website. | robward
31/10/2011 19:17 | Probably Rob. I dont tend to trawl the websites all the time. Thanks for the information. | fairdeal2008
31/10/2011 19:15 | It has been on the website for months...actually since July 2011 | robward
31/10/2011 19:06 | Go to centre of the page and you will see the link to a July 2011 corporate presentation outlining what they are up to. First time I have seen this I think!! | fairdeal2008
31/10/2011 15:50 | Yup - looking more interesting today. Trades also in Ireland. Ticker: a9i | chrisis33
31/10/2011 10:54 | Good to see a bit of movement here. Should be a lot higher imo. | someuwin

31/10/2011 07:23 | Copy post from Last week: BB very quiet - why is it folks won't buy at stock at 3p or about 35% of cash in bank. But they will buy if it has gone up 200% in the last three days :-). IMHO that scenario may apply here soon because the company is building it's technology and there is no value in the Mkt cap for anything at the moment. Simple stat cash is about £5.75mn or 9p per share approx. Mkt cap is £2mn or 3.25p per share. News due on lead programme agi350 soon, they have invested materially in this in the last year or so and it is approaching the end of pre-clinical trials. In the coming weeks news is due on partnerships and possible human trials. Good news will lift agi and with only 67m shares in issue who knows where it may go. IMHO please take a look. | fairdeal2008
28/10/2011 12:38 | Nils cash burn is such at moment they have 5 years burn by mycalcs. If agi350 goes forward I would expect a partner to come in. Agi is about the lowest risk I can find in biotech but that's mho. If they do well with agi 350 this could really fly. If they don't then IMHO cash return looks best option and cash is far ahead of Mkt cap IMHO | fairdeal2008
28/10/2011 12:31 | what does AGI350 target apart from 'unmet medical needs' - seems to me that AGI don't even inform investors what products they are developing? On their website their only product is agi350? No info on how much cash they expect to use to take it to a successful launch and what would be the projected returns? Even with the cash in the bank, and with only 1 product, seems a v. high risk play?? | nils214
28/10/2011 11:19 | Nice to see a little bit of buying here today. | chrisis33

11/10/2011 19:07 | You hit the nail bang on the head wisteria. I hold 100k Agi and 60k Agl At first glance not a lot of difference in size but then one stock is 3.25p and the other is 58p. Dont think Agl would interest FD because it's a 58p stock not 5.8p or less but in this market it's the bigger priced stock that has the better potential to double. I'm gambling on a life changer with Agl too hence the large stake. That's not to say Agi wont treble in a day with good news with all that cash behind it. | kinghorm23
11/10/2011 19:02 | Have you had a look at these FD.ANGLE agl. Pharmaceuticals are higher risk than oilys and so greater reward...ANGLE perhaps a life changer in more ways than one!! | wisteria2
07/10/2011 13:38 | Best scenario here is they announce very positive results from pre-clinical work in agi-350, confirm what agi-350 is targetting and perhaps a JV with a third party funding clinical trials. Worst case that all the programmes are not going ahead, in which case a cash return well in excess of current share price would be feasible. So there is risk, but at this level, 35% of cash at bank, I wouldn't describe it as high risk per se. imho | fairdeal2008
07/10/2011 13:35 | I believe there are no broker notes and they wouldnt have too much to write about at the moment - all the IP is being kept very quiet pre-orphan drug status award... | fairdeal2008
07/10/2011 13:34 | Paragraph from results rns refers: -- During the first six months AGI continued to exercise vigilance over the use of its existing cash resources. Total cash absorbed by operations was $0.9 million in the first six months of 2011, a decrease of 18% over the same period in 2010. In addition, since 30 June, AGI reported the sale of certain intellectual property assets, no longer regarded as core, to Warner Chilcott for $300,000. This will result in a gain on disposal of intellectual property of approximately $54,000, which will be recognised in the second half of the year. So around $2mn per annum or just under about right with $9.3million cash approx | fairdeal2008
07/10/2011 13:34 | GS From memory I think your correct...approx $2m per year. I'm not aware of any broker notes...happy to wait for the story to unfold in the fullness of time. | robward
07/10/2011 13:31 | Thanks robward / FD Is revised (given re-focus) estimated burn rate about $2m/yr ? Any broker notes ? | giant steps
07/10/2011 13:19 | Giant Steps Yep they are a one trick pony, that's why I have been cautious and taken a small position. There is always room in a portfolio for a bit of speculation ! | robward |
