22/9/2006 19:48 | What did the IC say please? AAIR IMO looks a steal at these levels....broker note reckons short-term 25p target and has a fair value of 45p+ on the shares (DYOR). Now the purchase of the airline in Oz has completed, AAIR has net cash and a highly profitable monopoly in OZ with potential to grow into surrounding areas. this has 2-3X potential in next 12 months me thinks and I have bought in between 10+14p. Cheers | qs9
22/9/2006 19:22 | good comment in Investors Chronicle. reason for rise in falling market?? | netsurfer
19/9/2006 07:35 | Another solid set of passenger numbers......all set to look very good therefore IMO in the next set of results.....DYOR etc | qs9
31/8/2006 16:27 | yup 182m plus warrants issued to WH Ireland..about 2m. 2006 results are a history now and their acquisition of the minority interest will have little impact on those results. What I am looking for are pretax estimates for 07 Anyone know? | nurdin
31/8/2006 16:13 | If my maths are wrong apologies 182.250m to be exact... | bigdunc
31/8/2006 16:05 | Listed here too | knowing
31/8/2006 15:50 | But have you considered the fact that there are now 190m shares in issue? PS I agree with all the rest but PE is not as low as you think. | nurdin
31/8/2006 15:45 | Well they now own 100% of Skywest as opposed to c60% therefore receive all the cash flow and profits and are able to access previous years tax losses to offset against future profits... They forecast turnover of 39.1 million pounds for the year to 30th June 2006, profits of 1.6 million pounds and earnings per share of 2.3p. This puts the stock on a ridiculously low PE of 5.5 (sorry). The business generates strong cash flow and has most of the upside guaranteed through long term contracts. The cash on the balance sheet should enable the group to roll our a strategy of extending its routes and the number of flights. | bigdunc
31/8/2006 15:37 | Forward pe of 4?How do you arrive at that? | nurdin
31/8/2006 12:30 | Great deal no different to what FTSE board members do on a regular basis, he still owns c15% though...and hasnt knocked my confidence i bought this on facts and figures nothing else, and we are still on a forward PE of approx 4 | bigdunc
31/8/2006 12:14 | It does portray the impression that he is a bit spivvy. | frank spencer
31/8/2006 12:09 | The chairman made nearly £270k in mater of days.Nice job if you can have it.Must have knocked the confidence of a few investors! | nurdin

29/8/2006 12:07 | Shame this has not ticked up more on the back of a massive vote of confidence by a director (£1m + purchase of shares), but hopefully newsflow over coming months will raise the profile and see the shares advance to a more reflective level of value! cheers I am biased as I own....DYOR etc | qs9
26/8/2006 20:15 | Am now in and new to AAIR, but believe this could double for valid reasons: 1 OZ company has significant net cash on its balance sheet and as it is profitable, this should rise. The market cap of £22m therefore is not the correct figure as one needs to deduct the cash... 2 the purchase of £1m+ of shares by a director HAS to be extremely bullish IMO. That is some serious investment and has been made at 11p+. 3 the Oz airline has a monopoly (DYOR) on its routes for quite a while yet under its licences, this is a tremendous way of printing money IMO. All bodes really well, and I hear (DYOR) that this is now being pushed to institutions.....so hopefully Friday's rise is just the beginning. Next set of figures will enable use all to work out ALL the figures, but take a look at the previous announcements....the cheers | qs9
25/8/2006 15:20 | On what grounds new boy? | bigdunc
