So close to breaking £3 - I suspect some have it as a sell target (which is never rational trading strategy)

Something going on in the sector IMO.

I think Pokerstars will use their more valuable paper to pounce soon

It seems as though they are struggling to keep the share price under raps to me. Hope that doesn't have a negative effect but there could be something in the wings IMO.

Does look like the obvious target in a consolidating industry, the competition just want to get bigger
4 Quid I reckon on takeover

how much do you think 888 is worth? ie. if there is a bid coming what do you think would be a realistic price...£3.30 per share?

300 was always the price the owners wanted to sell out.

Getting close now.

Might be beyond the wallets of William Hills but boy do they need it

Twang. Has to be corporate action pretty quick. The California Pokerstars issue might also be playing out here.

Cant see any further consolidation in the sector until after the Triennial gambling review now postponed until October.

Maybe an approach here from ps is filtering through and
that is why gvc is spiking higher, unless ps is looking
to approach gvc rather than 888.

Has to be a bid soon.

888 need it.

Pokerstars are the ones to move I suspect - this brings them sportsbook and casino in a stroke.

Pokerstars want to expand their sports-book and casino side - I suspect that they will be the predator. Whether or not any regulator will get involved because of the impact of merging the two biggest online poker sites into one is an interesting question.

Any guesses on a takeout price? It was generally thought £3 but this seems a little cheap now.
