By definition special dividends are usually rare events. I doubt anything special but could be an increase in the dividend more generally. Already a nice return

A punt on this stock could pay off

Investing in the shares of online gaming specialist 888 Holdings (LSE: 888) could turn out to be a profitable bet. The group failed in its attempt to buy rival bwin.party in 2015, but is delivering attractive organic growth.

888's revenue rose by 19% to $262m during the first half of last year, thanks to strong results in Casino and Sports betting. Full-year earnings are expected to be in line with expectations, suggesting adjusted earnings growth of 18% in 2016.

Although the shares trade on a forecast P/E of 19, 888's strong conversion of profits into surplus cash means that the stock still offers an appealing potential dividend yield of 4.4%.

Things very quiet here lately. I see 32red was taken out today at a nice premium. I wonder when our turn is due. It certainly had no knock on effect to our share price

They were certainly justified turning down the William Hill offer when you look at the current share price As I recall there were a few who thought the deal should have been done and accused the board of being greedy.

I have no doubt a deal will be done at some stage, but with whom?, and will we first see further gains, as a result of US activity, prior to that happening. If so then I would wager £3 a very probable target.

I heard a brief snippet from the hearing for Attorney General and there was a question asked about repealing the internet poker legislation. The answer was avoided by Sessions stating that he had not researched it sufficiently.

Anybody else heard anything about this or Trump's views?

Hills are very slow to appoint a new CEO so this could all be connected with some sort of T/O or merger .
