06/8/2007 18:12 | I'm not sure that PA "bought" Bedwas. Was the plant not given to him together with £500,000 to cover ongoing costs? | bicknoller
06/8/2007 18:03 | Wendy - "Surely "hamster" has a "P"?" That's what I used to think. Then I discovered Wikipedia disagreed with me, so I gave in...which I don't do very often :-) | the sixpenny knight
06/8/2007 17:28 | "hamster" has a "P" Good name for a short and not very enthralling natural history programme !!! | bluebelle
06/8/2007 17:19 | Surely "hamster" has a "P"? | wdurham
06/8/2007 17:03 | Careful Charlie - Hammy_Davies_Snr might be eight feet tall with a degree in cybernetics. ...but then again he could be a tap dancing hamster with a degree of cynicism. | the sixpenny knight
06/8/2007 17:02 | and anyway he "always tells it like it is". Er, well, he doesn't actually. He talks a load of tosh! | prambigear
06/8/2007 16:59 | Don't be too hard on Charlie, he's a bit sore that his pump and dump on PRM last week was uncovered by ....Charles Clore.(Doh!) | hammy_davies_snr
06/8/2007 15:53 | I wouldn't disagree with you there, Bluebelle. | charles clore
06/8/2007 15:36 | Oh I don't know Charles : rather perceptive and incontrovertible I thought !!! | bluebelle
06/8/2007 15:34 | You silly little man | charles clore
06/8/2007 15:25 | other than teh share price | hammy_davies_snr
06/8/2007 15:22 | I remember checking this lot and their portfolio out in some detail a while ago : nothing's ever straightforward with TDM !!! | bluebelle
06/8/2007 10:44 | Don't ask me; I'm still wondering how Wendy's Pa managed to buy Bedwas :-) (post 23077) | the sixpenny knight
06/8/2007 09:02 | Thanks Knight ! 23080 : I think that's always been part of the problem and it looks like PA has inherited it from KB : they think that by getting MPs etc. on board they can open doors and get grants for them. There is a place for that in certain circumstances but not when you lack a really good, focused, sales and marketing guy, which none of these companies has ever had. EPT has also acquired a licence for the manufacture of Deep Draw products using the revolutionary new Powder Impression Moulding process developed by 3DM Worldwide plc. From their web site Anyone ever find out the corporate structure at Evo Tek ? (and on a similar subject, whatever happened to Eden resources ?) | bluebelle
06/8/2007 08:58 | Hey, now there's an idea gilts! | charles clore
05/8/2007 19:55 | TSK still waiting for his plastic battleship to come up the Tees? LOL | giltspur
05/8/2007 18:04 | Giltspoon - As they don't have any barges on the river Cover, you are not likely to get the chance. | the sixpenny knight
05/8/2007 15:18 | Life would be less complicated if they had one company with one order book, and some cash generation, alas musical company certificates seems to be the fashion with this lot. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. | giltspur
04/8/2007 22:25 | Bluebelle - #23075 LOL | the sixpenny knight
04/8/2007 22:09 | Henry Bellingham MP, is also a (non-executive) director of Environmental Polymer Technologies Limited. He is also non-executive vice-chairman (and shareholder) of Longborough Capital PLC. Tony Baldry MP is still hanging in there, possibly because he has so many different share holdings he's forgotten what he does have and what he doesn't. I'm just a simpleton, life is far less complicated. | the sixpenny knight
04/8/2007 11:31 | Aylmore is a director of ENVIRONMENTAL POLYMER TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED formerly 3dm Environmental Ltd. They have more company certificates than Wendy has share certificates in her bottom drawers. Where did all the money go? LOL | giltspur
04/8/2007 10:12 | wendy Yes that was my understanding but It's a while since I followed it that closely. If he had rights to the IP it could be an interesting company if, as it appears, it doesn't he's just another struggling manufacturer with a good idea but as yet no market for it, with the added burden that, if he ever does sell anything, every pound he brings in is only worth 70p gross. I suspect his heart ruled his head on this one : he simply can't conceive of the fact that no one wants his mousetrap and can't/won't embrace marketing : seen it all before all too often. Usually ends up with someone buying the assets for £1 !!! | bluebelle
04/8/2007 09:52 | Bluebelle - I'm pretty sure that the rights to the IP remained with 3DM when PA "bought" Bedwas. | wdurham
04/8/2007 09:33 | gemstar2 - 3 Aug'07 - 17:43 - 23072 of 23074 He owns the robotic manufacturing plant, with its expense and overheads. he has to pay 30% of sales to TDM So am I right in thinking he's simply a licencee and has no interest in the IP of the PIM process ? | bluebelle
04/8/2007 09:32 | The Sixpenny Knight - 3 Aug'07 - 18:35 - 23073 of 23074 As I understand it, 30% of nothing equals nothing, and 30% of a little equals next to nothing. I remember seeing a photo from The Guardian of a local authority workers picket line where one guy was holding up a banner saying "4.6 per cent of nothing is nothing. We want 6 per cent". | bluebelle |
