As you are aware AIM listed joke oil company Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing myself and my pal Dan Levi (Brokerman Dan) for libel. We cannot wait for our days in court as this is getting more amusing by the day.
A day or so I asked Sefton the simple question – how many flights to and from Hawaii (where Jim Ellerton lives in a luxury mansion) have been paid for by Sefton? The answer could be nil and if so I would have hoped for a speedy reply. I have had no such reply. Perhaps shareholders might have more luck putting that question to the company directly- I suggest calling its PR man Alex Walters on his mobile 07771 713608 – good luck.
But I now have a few more questions and this time I move from Hawaii where Jim spends his millions to Kansas and Leavenworth County where in 2009/10 Sefton ponied up a total of $215,000 to buy some gas pipelines. Investors have repeatedly been told that these could be big money spinners. I have always been rather less convinced by this and so I have a few questions for Jim Ellerton and Sefton on this one: Answers on a postcard to me at the usual address.
- Are these gas pipelines in Leavenworth County the same gas pipelines that were once owned by Powerhouse Resources, a company that Jim Ellerton founded and floated back in the 1990s and which never generated any positive cashflows for Powerhouse? Incidentally Powerhouse ceased bothering to make SEC filings in 1995, after Jim had left, and eventually went bust in 2009?
- Who is HPD Inc. of Lubbock Texas from who these assets were purchased for $215,000 in cash? I am probably stupid but cannot track them down. What is their address and telephone number and who owns HPD?
- How much did HPD pay for these assets
- Under various owners since Powerhouse these assets have never made anyone rich. Why will it be different this time?
Of course these could be different gas pipeline assets in Leavenworth County Kansas which offer great promise. Perhaps Sefton could clarify the matter? Easy questions. I look forward to those answers and an update on the air-flight situation.
