SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 6 July 2015 - blinkx plc (LSE AIM: BLNX) announces that on 3 July 2015, S. Brian Mukherjee, CEO of blinkx, was granted share options for 7,000,000 blinkx plc Ordinary Shares ('blinkx Shares') at an exercise price of GBP0.2775 per share. These share options were granted in accordance with the US Share Plan for Senior Executives, but are also subject to a minimum stock price threshold of GBP0.50 per share before the options can be exercised.

Following this grant, Mr. Mukherjee has 250,000 restricted stock units, 9,080,000 unexercised share options and 600,000 ordinary shares, together representing 2.47% of the Total Voting Rights of the Company.
