Posted at 06/12/2024 09:35 by davethehorse Seriously, if INVP gets into the FTSE100 in 2025, which it probably should, there will be a huge re rate here too as all the trackers buy in....;-) |
Posted at 06/12/2024 09:17 by davethehorse INVP making a strong move North again after a bit of weakness (technical?). Strong buy and hold for 2025 imo. |
Posted at 28/11/2024 07:40 by davebowler Berenberg is confident that it can still hit its double-digit targets.Analyst Alexander Bowers reiterated his 'buy' recommendation and target price of 660p on the Citywire Elite Companies + rated wealth management group, which added 0.4% to 571p yesterday after a 'resilient' first half.Bowers said the first-half 2025 results from Investec were 'solid' with the group growing revenue by 6% and operating profit by 8% year-on-year, while return on equity hit 14%.'While declining base rates may act as a headwind over the next few years, we think the business can continue to grow its diversified income streams and are confident that the group can deliver within its 13-17% medium-term return on equity target range,' he said.In particular, Bowers said the UK business 'should achieve higher growth' given the tailwinds of 'improving equity capital markets activity and an improving property market'. |
Posted at 19/8/2024 13:42 by davethehorse Fancy Investec could really kick on from here for the remainder of 2024 into 2025, 700p target price for me with great divis while we wait ;-) |

Posted at 22/9/2023 13:21 by kalai1 Investec plc issued a pre-close Trading Update for the interim period ending 30 September 2023 this morning. The combination of Investec Wealth & Investment UK with the Rathbones Group has completed. For the six months ending 30 September 2023, the Group expects Adjusted earnings per share between 35.5p and 37.5p (8.0% to 14.0% ahead of prior period) on Adjusted operating profit before tax between £428.7 million and £449.6 million, with ROE to be around the mid-point of the Group's target range of 12% to 16%. Valuation is attractive with forward PE ratio at 6.5x in the top quintile for the IB&IS sector. The Group remains well capitalised with strong liquidity. The share price lacks near term momentum, but remains in a longer run uptrend which should extend in coming years. INVP is one for the long run. BUY......from WealthOracle |

Posted at 23/9/2022 09:15 by mo123 The group is well capitalized with strong liquidityROE rising. Mkt facing businesses taking a hit but investment income up. World facing an uncertain future and the rand still falling but will hold for the expected div income of around 26p, div yield of 6.5% at £4 share price. A very volatile share so on a bad day it could fall to that support level at 374. interim results due Nov 17th. |
Posted at 11/8/2022 14:16 by rightnellie Thanks Cassini, your reply shows that someone is still interested in this share that has given me a good share price uplift and very decent yield on my original purchase. It seems to be nearing the top of its current range. Obviously would like to get out somewhere near the top (520-600?) and was hoping for others views on what stop limit they are setting. |
Posted at 29/5/2022 14:48 by minsky Say you had 1000 INVP shares bought at 475p - that's £4750.And say the N91 price is 230p. 137 shares is worth £315 or 6.6% of your INVP holding. So before the entitlement date of May 26 people were buying INVP to get the N91 shares. The next day they sell them, hence the fall 486 to 450 - a drop of 7%. |
