Posted at 13/3/2025 21:42 by habshan So Shamaran have reported a drop in their realised price last year have they.Well fortunately we aren't invested in Shamaran. GKP 23rd January:- “Local sales have remained strong since our previous market update in December 2024, with 2025 year to date gross average production of c.47,900 bopd generating material free cash flow, underpinning our ongoing commitment to return excess cash to shareholders. Average realised price for 2024 sales of c.$27/bbl, with prices stabilising in a range of c.$27-$28/bbl in H2 2024. 2025 year to 21 January gross average production of c.47,900 bopd: Continued strong local market demand and robust prices since the beginning of the year." What is excess cash. Gabriel in Oslo a couple of weeks ago:- "We will look at excess cash to pay dividends, what does excess cash mean, it means that at the twice yearly results what is left after a year of capital spend which is running at around 7 million a month or $84 million a year. So around $80-85 million is what we need for the capital needs of the business." Excess cash - Anything above $85 million. 23rd January - 2024 year-end cash balance of $102 million. So there's $17 million, plus whatever they've made in the 3 months between December and March and then there's the buyback money should they decide not to renew it. So plenty of room for a decent dividend. |
Posted at 12/3/2025 17:00 by johnbuysghost Agree world and now there are very few shares available to buy.No one with half a brain would sell at this point. GKP is easily a 70 bagger from todays share price |
Posted at 08/3/2025 10:04 by highly geared Everything is now in the open in terms of the IGC/KRG being reminded in the clearest and most transparent way, of APIKURs legal/contractual entitlements. Add in US Diplomatic “watching brief” and both regional and national governments and ministries have nowhere to hide. They either agree to a lasting agreement based on the PSCs or the IOCs double down (with tacit US support) and wait it out until September, at which time, a new deal with KRG/Turkey is struck. GKP was forced to adapt 2 years ago and has become a tightly run business that has survived an existential event and come out of it lean and efficient with the ability to pay dividends and buy back shares. Assuming, over the coming weeks the ICG finally see sense and beyond religious and cultural differences, a lasting agreement is transforming. What price GKP with an updated FDP and CPR in the next 12 months with a stable geopolitical backdrop. |
Posted at 07/3/2025 21:32 by oilermam Agree nest. Feels like the conclusion is inevitable now. All iocs want is parity with rest of Iraq and they will eventually bow down to the heat that the US is putting on them. Personally don't understand what's taking them so long as they must know games up now. One day we'll see a statement from apikur that the pipe is open and the current share price will seem like a steal. Just hope we're not waiting too long. |
Posted at 03/3/2025 21:42 by bigdog5 Almost 2 years on from this load of garbage from johnyladyboy, another that you morons tick up!!! There's desperate and the really desperate and then there are the GKP rampers !!!johnbuysghost29 Mar '23 - 09:42 - 669749 of 720274 0 4 0 "I honestly think this will be sorted real soon and the share price will absolutely fly. Then it will be takeover season and then anything is possible". |
Posted at 01/3/2025 19:29 by johnbuysghost We need to manage expectations nest.....lol.I know what I think GKP is ultimately worth and it's looking like early days bitcoin at the current share price |
Posted at 28/2/2025 16:23 by shortsqueezer Judging by share price movements throughout the day you may well be right. |
Posted at 28/2/2025 16:08 by shortsqueezer Current share price 190.10. Doesn't look like the market has been spooked. As we LTHs haven't. Have a great weekend all. Im now opening a Vielle Ferme to get things started. Not a bad drop for the price. |
Posted at 25/2/2025 20:17 by habshan Broadford - "Remind us highlander7, when exactly was Daniel Yergin an advisor to GKP?"Try this:- April 25th 2015. Paul Mansfield CeMAP Business Improvement Analyst (IT Project Management) Better days lie ahead for the winner of THE PRIZE (See the book by Daniel Yergin who now acts with Perella Weinberg on behalf of GKP, who have put themselves up for sale). For the Supermajor that gets lucky will be in the data room at GKP looking to buy the SUPERGIANT SHAIKAN after all how many reports get produced after just 1 DRILL stating the following? 1). Highly fractured carbonates. 2). GKPI was able to successfully prove 2 mega structures representing over 10 billion barrels of oil. 3). Identification of a new reservoir (secondary Jurassic zone) resulting in an additional 7,000 bo/d. Acid stimulation of the open hole well increased the daily production on this second zone. 4) Total proven reserves of 24,000 boe/d from the primary Triassic target and 7,000 bo/d from the secondary Jurassic zone. Read the report for yourself.... And ask yourself a question. GKP state SHAIKAN is a 10 BILLION BARREL P50 find & they are only basing this on finds in the JURASSIC only?!? If 24,000 BOPD came from the primary Triassic target on just Shaikan 1 alone.... How much is REALLY down there at SHAIKAN with 11 wells drilled? And then there's the Cretaceous & the Permian to consider on top... SHAIKAN is one of the greatest oil fields discovered in decades & the Supermajors do not want small investors to know about it or benefit from it.... Go figure.... |
Posted at 22/2/2025 20:17 by darmz If you go back to the chart before the shutdown the share price was 200pSo the price is now is nearly back thereExcept gkp are in a worse financial position than feb2023So where is the upside here?? |
