06/12/2006 23:21 | siwel100 - 6 Dec'06 - 22:55 - 1591 of 1591 APHZOMBIE...Dont expect a trading statement re iDVD performance. They have no access or permissions regarding 3rd party figures --- If Zoo has no access to 3rd party figures (as you have so boldly stated), then how do you suggest they (ZOO) acquire the DVDExtra revenues, which (as we all know) are based on number of units sold ... | aphzombie
06/12/2006 22:55 | APHZOMBIE...Dont expect a trading statement re iDVD performance. They have no access or permissions regarding 3rd party figures (ZIV falls into that category now). I would instead look to the forward commentary on the interim results. | siwel100
06/12/2006 22:53 | jacobjohn7 - 6 Dec'06 - 16:04 - 1577 of 1589 just got a big marketing pack from Volvo, opens up the folder and whats inside... an interactive product presentation on dvd... hmmm I wonder... the empire grows unseen (as well as the highly visible stuff) it would seem... --- JJ, you may be interested to note that Volvo is also a client of Freestyle New Media (who also did the LandRover marketing iDVD using DVDExtra) as the following snippet from their client list shows. Suggests your hunch may be right .... Freestyle has designed and deployed online and offline digital marketing business solutions for a wide range of organisations. Amongst others our clients include: LANDROVER RBS ICI VOLVO | aphzombie
06/12/2006 22:47 | INDOMIE, H1 results for half year up to 30th september should be expected up to 3 months after H1 end, ie. december. Hence last year's H1 results (for 1st half of April-September 05) were released 15th december 2005 following full-year-end change to 31st March 2005. Also, as Zoo still earns a certain amount of revenues from Xmas trading (both through the final year of ZIV's publishing efforts and through ZOOtech's iDVD revenues from games products) I would imagine there will also be a trading statement in mid january 07. | aphzombie
06/12/2006 22:39 | Jacobjohn...Its the last bad one, the last serious buying op should be in the spike down after its released (if these new buyers are as weak as they look), even then it depends how much research these new buyers have done and how strong the forward statement is.But it clears the decks and sets it up for a move to profit at Finals. Am looking at the finals for the clear indication of the turn, after that the subsequent results will be strong against previous comparisons and also showing strong growth. Its also going to be an easier business for the market to value, with clear income/costs streams as against the mixed jumble of the past......18 months for a reasonable valuation, 30 months for the complete rerating as a growth stock. We will soon see how much patience the spike buyers of the last few days have :) | siwel100
06/12/2006 21:21 | H1 results around mid/late december INDOMIE. | jacobjohn7
06/12/2006 21:18 | results are way off arent they......the financial year was changed last year....probably a trading update in jan tho | indomie
06/12/2006 19:31 | Ok fair enough UK... people may have a whiff of/want to get in before... results... | jacobjohn7
06/12/2006 19:03 | JJ a 40% rise yesterday is a 40% rise on the current stock valuation and as such should merit a comment. You have to stop thinking of what it represents in "old money" because this is the new Zoo. It could have just gone up 1 or 2p yesterday and that clearly wouldn't warrant an announcement but 40%!! To "outsiders" the "old money" means nothing, all they would register is a 40% rise. I do believe there is lots happening and I cant help thinking that a leak of some sort was behind yesterdays movement because logically, with Woolworths stating how poorly dvds are selling, that should have caused a share price fall. Hey, but when did logic ever apply to Zoo's SP? :-) | uknighted
06/12/2006 18:42 | UK in comparison to old money, weve barely moved up... perhaps a quarter tick... not big enough for an annoucment IMO. We will get plenty to get our teeth into I feel when the results come out. Lots of things happening at the zoo. | jacobjohn7
06/12/2006 16:39 | Disappointing that there hasnt been a RNS - if only to say that management are not aware of any reason for the sharp shareprice movement, unless, of course, they do know the reason but aren't able to make an announcement. | uknighted
06/12/2006 16:25 | very good and detailed and should imagine follow up from the Land Rover marketing product using des. | jacobjohn7
06/12/2006 16:24 | on the left disneys latest release, on the right zootechs menu tool what do you think? "2 matches" from that 1 pic | macca28
06/12/2006 16:12 | JJ Not surprising - wasn't there a Landrover dvd, and as they are both Ford owned? | uknighted

06/12/2006 13:35 | Is the rise to pay for the Olympics or the nukes, did he say? Or suppose 3 subs instead of 4 will pay for Olympics. | rob008
06/12/2006 13:18 | Anyone watch the mini budget? If you can be bothered, you may like to top up with fuel on the way home - it'll go up 1.5p/litre from midnight. More help for biodeisel and other alternative fuels, so may help shares along in that sector. £10 tax per flight, doubled from £5. Adds £100 for a holdiay for a typical family of five. No help for interactive DVDs, but more help for the UK film industry. Doubt that will help zoo in any way. | diamante
06/12/2006 12:55 | Aerotus...Been accumulating, not selling. With no follow through this morning more than happy for this to fall back to 50p or less as spike punters bail out. Certainly wont be coming in to buy and prop up the price. | siwel100
