10/3/2007 19:51 | OOPS! scholastic have some more games coming out too, and none of the above have anything to do with xmas 2007, | macca28
10/3/2007 19:38 | macca...Thats why I qualified it with in my opinion...imo. I would put it around the 1.9m - 2.2m mark, could be higher but depends on iDVD income, have a feeling there will be a bad debt in there. What people seem to miss is that the cost base has been slashed without any cost to Zoo. They will have the iDVD income dropping 1st quarter (even if less than hoped) and of course Disney income even if delayed. Illiquid stocks can fall substantially on relatively penny trades in comparison to their market cap (and rise on small trades as well)....its very little to do with cash in bank or real performance.....unti | siwel100

10/3/2007 19:20 | siwel: "Zoo is now valued at below cash in bank" its now march and you simply don't know how much money zoo have left, | macca28
10/3/2007 18:23 | ya still doing a gamble 50% either way but lets face it this is zoo. full of false promises and lies | cashmagnet
10/3/2007 18:14 | Cahmagnet, I know its difficult for you to understand, but trading isnt about putting everything you own on a stock, then posting on a bb 24/7 hoping the price goes up.....and losing your house if it fails. I am no different to any other trader, I have multiple trades running at any time. Some short term, some just minutes, others like ZOO for years. I expect to take hits every month, its part of the job. You want Zoo to fail because then its not your fault you have lost everything, thats fine, its human nature. I think its a good punt, certainly good enough to hold and not cut at this early stage. But at the end of the day its just another trade. | siwel100
10/3/2007 18:04 | Cashmagnet.....hmmm. | siwel100
10/3/2007 17:54 | stop kidding ya self, its over for zoo | cashmagnet
10/3/2007 17:54 | stop kidding ya self, its over for zoo | cashmagnet
10/3/2007 17:35 | After all the fun n games over the last few days with cashmagnet its back to business. Zoo is now valued at below cash in bank. They may have taken a hit on iDVD income and Disney income no doubt delayed, but next results finishes the clear out of write offs. Then its clean slate time. One of two things will happen with ZOO, either they will go bust or they will ten bag from here. There isnt much room for a middle path. As to ten bagging they simply need to cover cost and generate a 1m annual profit. May sound a tad presumptious at this point but for a niche software house its run of the mill stuff. The question is if their income streams will be strong enough to do it? iDVD is still in its infancy. Overcooked with some naff titles last xmas in this country but this is just one small island. There is going to be enough growth worldwide to grow Zoo's income substantially over the next 5 years. Studios....They come in all shapes and forms. Not just USA but throughout the world. They have a strengthened relationship with one major , others will follow. 3rd party DVD production. All the ancillary companies working for studios, broadcasting, toys and entertainment. A very major worldwide sector in which Zoo has a foothold and no reason they will not grow strongly. Lastly, Zoo has financial support. If it goes pear shaped then yep the company folds, but if it looks promising then it is highly likely more funds will be forthcoming. As to cashmagnet. Yep he is entertaining, but he is also a fool. Sitting on a bb thread 24/7 wanting someone to blame is ok, but he has zip impact on the company or its share price The price went up 100% recently on a wee bit of hope. Its so illiquid that any half way decent news will spike it higher. Perhaps not happy to be holding but made money from worse situations. As to shorting, you cant get a position. All imo. | siwel100
10/3/2007 15:41 | Aerotus, Think what people should be more worried about is that if the oxygen level in the atmosphere rises a couple or more percent above 21% the rain forests and stuff will start to spontaneously combust. They won't mess about burning, it will be like a tidal wave of fire. Hell on earth! Good way to keep oxygen level down is to burn carbon fuels! There's always two sides to every argument. We also breathe out carbon dioxide and we breathe 22,400 times a day or something like that and so start holding your breath and don't be so reckless! While we're on the subject, did you know you only breathe out of one of your nostriles and it switches to the other one every two hours? Amazing but true. | rob008
