Rob - it's one of the possibilities. The BOD need to be savvy even accessing the Just Transition Fund that Cinovec have applied for. This would move the everything forward and they need to watch Ganfengs intentions

LG preparing to lock in raw material supplies. Benchmark say land grab just getting started. Supply first, price second, everything else thereafter. Only a matter of time before an approach IMHO

Last year the FY announcement was late Feb. If they don't address the funding situation before the results are signed off then the going concern statement will make interesting reading. So I think a non equity funding would be a very good idea

Sp needs to break out of the current range and suspect that if does then there could be plenty of buying interest - myself included!

Good points all, thanks, interesting reading. Tamesis were assuming equity raise in the 30ps so IMO a long way to go yet! DYOR

Tamesis is now a broker to both companies. Their note was an excellent summary of the hidden value in ZWND. IMHO

Have acquired a decent chunk today. Board need to get some short term cash and I think a royalty deal with TRR, which I also hold, would be the perfect solution. TRR have the cash and are hungry for new deals and the TP news will only increase their appetite for decent lithium assets. DYOR.

The Czech Government have taken what might be regarded as a controlling interest in Cinovec.Zinnwald was the default option for investors in lithium two years back.Ironically, after a torrid ride,i made good money out of EMH and BCN which i suppose is now funding a running loss in Zinnwald, the stable, sound sensible choice! That's junior miners, complete gamble.

https://www.bnamericas.com/en/analysis/mexico-seeks-to-renegotiate-lithium-concessions-granted-prior-to-nationalizationThe most advanced project is Sonora, which was expected to start construction in 2024 in the northern state and is in the hands of China's Ganfeng Lithium.Last June, López Obrador said that the lithium mining concessions already granted would be respected as long as they were in order and there was exploration or production underway. However, he added that they would not be operated by foreign or private sector companies.

Another issue that perhaps will now be in ZNWD favour is - remember Bacanora which was bought out by Ganfeng who now own the Mexico resource. Mexico is nationalising Lithium mining - oh dear!!However, Ganfeng still have 8.7% of ZNWD as at Sept 22 they could start to buy up stock if being squeezed elsewhere

Since April 2022,the performance of EMH and ZNWD has been broadly similar, both shares halving.Superficially,EMHs political Czech profile has always appeared less attractive than that of the German based Zinnwald. Its difficult to see how Cinovec gets EU backing and a green light and Zinnwald's prospect gets mothballed but i don't have any insight into the vagaries of EU/German thinking.Afterall, look at German energy policy over recent years.

https://www.nsenergybusiness.com/news/cinovec-project-gets-strategic-project-status-eu-just-transition-fund/So the same resource over the border in the Czech Republic has just been approved for Just Transition Funding (JST) €1.64b of which the region in which Cinovec falls will receive €632mMy guess is that an application will go in for JST funding - That should get approval, after all the closing date for apps is December 23

If Tamesis can attract solid institutional buying then it'll be doing its job.Yet,Zinnwald is a minnow with a market cap of just £20m.A lot of institutions will be put off by liquidity concerns, some by the fact that its an AIM stock and some by the absence of cash flow given that ZNND is a junior mining exploration company.Other than that the inherent attractions are clear :).Ganfeng's interest is admittedly a plus and the stock looks to be building a base around the mid 6p level.

Valuation is clearly very low but that is because the company has little or no cash. The Board need to come up with a creative fundraising plan asap

Thanks euclid5.....Tamesis appear therefore to be saying that this could be a 4 bagger if valued the same as other projects or 10 bagger at this stage of development.....DYOR but risk reward seems pretty attractive, albeit high risk and possible high reward! DYOR

Taken from pg 1 of the new BN

Our NPV8 using $20,000/t LiOH long term (from 2030) pricing is $1,080m. We have
done some fairly basic analysis that shows if the company could increase output to
17ktpa LiOH then the post-tax NPV8 would rise to c. $1.6bn. Generally, we would
assert that a company at PEA level (and it is a comprehensive PEA) should trade at a
P/NPV multiple of at least 0.2x (should be more in this case given project parameters)
which equates to c. 60pps.

Right now the shares are trading on a tenth of this metric
at 0.02x NPV. European Metals (AIM: EMH), the publicly listed owners of 49% of the
Cinovec Project across the border in the Czech Republic have a market capitalization
4x that of Zinnwald and are at a similar stage of project development.
