20/1/2021 15:21 | New commission on twitter Zinc Media Group @zinc_media · 11m #BlakewayProductions has been commissioned to make a documentary for the BBC, exploring the life and work of pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim ( @DBarenboim ), widely regarded as the outstanding musical figure of our time. | dave4545
14/1/2021 13:16 | I'm probably the only person on this thread who is a TV Producer and knows some of these people personally. There's certainly talent at Zinc but they're considered "Old Hat" in the industry, especially Creative Head Roy Ackerman, who's definitely had his day. Most Commissioning Editors are half Roy's age. I once had the chance to buy Zinc's shares but luckily demurred. | lpl1

14/1/2021 11:08 | Bought into these a while back at 56.8p Great update today, certainly seems to be heading in the right direction. Old thread is full of stale once holders and now derampers. They can stay there. | dave4545
14/1/2021 11:04 | UKD - you have been spot on with this before and I suspect you still are. What a pile of Junk this turned out to be, and as lpl1 says full of "sugar- coating". No talk of Profits as expected. | clocktower
14/1/2021 10:57 | Marketcap £10m - £6m cash, £9.3m booked revs for 2021 (£43m pipeline) | robertrmartin
14/1/2021 10:46 | They raised in October | babbler
14/1/2021 09:56 | There's an awful lot of "sugar-coating" in this update. I agree with UKDannyBoy, btw. | lpl1
14/1/2021 09:36 | Attempt to boost the price before a placing. Expect one imminently. | ukdannyboy
14/1/2021 07:27 | That's a good positive update this morning. | 1gw
01/1/2021 18:13 | Their "Creative Management" is old and decrepit. Take it from one who knows. GW has absolutely ZERO knowledge about TV Production - he's in the Oil biz - so how would he be able to ascertain whether their projections are truthful. Anyway, I don't own any shares in this P. scheme........ | lpl1
01/1/2021 15:51 | I'm not invested because I think it's a "great" media company, I'm invested because I think it's an interesting turnaround play – relatively new management, supportive major shareholder (Herald), disillusioned retail shareholder base (judging from advfn), improved financing in place. I view it as high risk, so I accept it might not make it, and clearly the covid restrictions hit their plans in 2020. But to me it still looks interesting and I think the real test will come as they exit the covid restrictions. Can they build on the firmer financial base they have established by growing the top line through new business? | 1gw
01/1/2021 11:21 | Just checking in guys - Oh dear! GW1, you really should have listened to my sage advice instead of patronising me, mate. There are so many better Media Companies to invest in..... | lpl1
16/12/2020 07:51 | Then they would never issue an RNS | toffeeman
15/12/2020 21:18 | ZIN should RNS only when their business plan stretches beyond funding salaries with placings, until then we should all just assume that’s the goal. | ukdannyboy
13/12/2020 10:49 | CAPITAL "C" criminal, UKDannyboy! | lpl1
13/12/2020 09:42 | These guys really have rinsed shareholders dry. Almost criminal when you think they’ve never made a penny profit, current market cap £9,000,000 current cash balance £2,000,000(ish), amount raised through placings this year £7,500,000. | ukdannyboy |
