I believe the amount of flaring allowed is limited so maybe they have passed that threshold and are connecting to the pipeline!

polysale. It was RKH. I bought at about 30p that day and had made £90k by close. Later on they went up to £5 but I sold out at £3.50 on the way down. Still, a nice 10 bagger.

Flare limit could have been reached and agree bloody disgusting today, stop losses triggered maybe news tomorrow as often drops just before news.

jackthecat - Flaring.
I have checked Sentinel and notice distinct flaring on July 12. Next date was 17th and seems to have gone. Finally I drew new layer over site for 20th July (latest allowed) and nothing (as in the flare seen on 12th is definitely not there now).
So it seems like the flaring has stopped.
Hopefully this means all tests completed and ready to set it all out in RNS.

Anyone who uses this imagery knows it is very "fuzzy" but flares are pretty obvious.
Maybe someone else has access to better imagery.
That's my penny's worth anyway.

Talking of selling what is with the 917,261 sell at 3.825 11.12am when the spread was 4.40 to 4.70

After losing the 50dsma Fri these seem to have had support at the 4.7 level.

and checking the intraday chart it can be seen a lot of selling went on at that level and just after so perhaps this a.m was mostly stoplosses getting hit?

Was it RKH that went from about 60p to around 10p then back to where they started in a few hours.
No investigation by FSA was done

It was one of the falkland companies ... may have been borders or desire

This mark down is a bloody disgrace, so many people probably stopped out because they have stops in to minimise losses !!! It gives the boys a chance to get in cheap.

I remeber that too, i had 100 k RKH that made over 70k in one day, but what a roler coaster.

The trouble here is ADVFN is sucha lousy site, packed with adverts, loading is sooo slow. Swapped to Sharepad adn never looked back. its truly incredible seeing the speed share price gives you all the details and tools.

The AFN claim they are a proffessional grade is laughable. Its junk. I stopped my sub
months ago and have never regretted it for one second. Spad simply makes you money.

I remember Rockhopper crashing before they announced a successful test at Sealion. Stop losses were triggered on the way down and lots of traders managed to get cheap shares

It's going back up now so there is nothing the company can or needs to do unless they have other knowledge. Two weeks from the 9th is tomorrow. If no RNS it will be in the next couple of days.

How can anyone investigate? If it's the leaks are coming from the crew that will be impossible to prove. And if it's a placing then the City will be in the know and doing some forward selling. The company needs to put an RNS to say they don't know of any reason for the fall. If they do know they may be silent.
