Another situation where the historic results add nothing to our total knowledge as all the information is in the market place already. Rick Grant is an excellent Chairman and he runs a tight ship and this management team has done all the right things, they are drilling their flagship Paradox play again and despite a technically challenging time last year, have got back to the point where the new well is testing.

But the smart thing is that they have a portfolio of non-operated assets which provide cash flow for exploration and to cover G&A and now an interesting asset in Salt Wash…I’m still very confident that the Paradox will deliver and that before long I will be reporting back from Denver.

Post today on the Telegram group: Zero to be concerned about. Have received message from CH. Debt remains broadly unchanged (slightly lower vs 5 May rns) bec the company has to pay for the 36-2 drill before receiving insurance payments (implies underlying indebtedness is declining). Drill clean taking time bec of high pressure and need to maintain pressure balance with heavy mud.

Taking longer than expected doesn’t seem out of the ordinary for CH so probably just traders getting out as the opportunity for making a quick buck has drifted out until later in 2024.

Presumably that is what is spooking the market. Joe Public wonders whether the clean-up is proving problematic and how much so?

The update does point out that the news will not be released all at once as some here hoped. (Me) July/August for production testing and September/October for the commencement of the saltwash operations
