How an earth is being delighted that the well is flowing be considered as ramping.

After the headache this well has caused wouldnt any CEO be pleased to see the company achieve on its aims.

Thank you but no thank you. I believe that there are other options to consider.

But I note your tacit agreement that Colin Harrington’s MO is “ramp first, ask questions later”.

Cashandcard,

”At this early stage, they are telling us as much as they can. The initial flow is 'encouraging'.”;”

Colin Harrington’s MO is “ramp first, ask questions later”. Which tells you that this well result is a dog.

john henry,

”Short on AVCT 40p not looking great a Jacko”

Why would you make stuff up like this?

I have no current position in Avacta.

Gas-Condensate, onshore at high flowrates, and with scalability, huge potential here. For those who need to know, condensate is priced at a small discount to WTI.

At this early stage, they are telling us as much as they can. The initial flow is 'encouraging'.
But they want to 'rigorously' test so they can determine everything they need in order to deliver an 'early estimate' of potential 'recoverable resources'.

Said differently; early flowback was as expected (high flowback), but they need to test it properly to tell folks what they think is possible from this play in terms of recoverables for both Gas and Condensates.

That reads very well, given testing has just started, that they are committing to this early estimate.

Just a reminder

Initial results indicate that the well penetrated a folded and naturally fractured Cane Creek reservoir, features which have been highly productive in other Cane Creek wells. Pore pressure analysis suggests that the well encountered very high reservoir overpressure, with formation pressures estimated at around 9,300 pounds per square inch (which is broadly consistent with previously drilled offset wells).

The well further delineates the presence of natural gas and condensate within a large structural compartment, and at a new location within Zephyr's acreage and 3D seismic coverage - which provides additional confirmation of Zephyr's model for hydrocarbons in place across the acreage position.

Looks poor to me. Where’s the oil? Where’s the flow rate? Where’s the usual Colin Harrington ramp?

Don't panic yourself folks, they've gone slowly and carefully for a reason - they cannot afford for this well to fail, it must deliver a successful flow testing operation. Waited this long, a couple of weeks for detailed flowtesting results not far away now.Cash

Very encouraging that the well is flowing, and is not inhibited. Also, confirmation that it's flowing condensate, which will be critical to ensuring economics of this well and play. Good start.Cash
