I still don't expect the great big plunge for sometime - except may be for some particular asset classes. It will be more rotation in - rotation out - skittish - but tremendous long term damage is being done by the Central Bankers - the west is gone for at least one generation (except certain pockets of high desired skills and some simple enough sectors - the middle will struggle).

Nothing to be embarrassed about. Profit is profit.
And to be honest...I also switched to short term holdings since I don't trust the market anymore. Might be even out completely in march until things change.

I did pick up Buck a small position. But I sold today - quite embarrassed to admit as I fancy myself as a fundamentals sort of person. I like the fundamentals of AMI as I have mentioned a few times before - but everything is so deflationary - nobody has time for future rewards. It is all show me the cash.

Even the Fed realizes that. They are not even worried of inflation. They know that two corkscrews of uncorking of QE will plunge the world in deflation - don't even have to increase interest rates to control inflation - at least not yet.

Timis has been a huge problem - That is why Tonkolili is still so undervalued. But if the Chinese (who are the only players in town) trusts him, maybe he will not need to go back to his old days. Also Simandou and Tonkolili are probably bigger deposits than Zanaga.

Course we will, biggest iron ore deposit in Africa has actually a negative value.... FFS, you ever heard of Frank Timis btw...????

If Tonkolili, post infrastructure is valued by the Chinese at $6 billion, then Zanaga, pre infrastructure, will be valued negative by the market. That is the problem we have.

In fairness it was advising those who bought in early to take a profit. However, long term it looks sound

Exited ZIOC short trade today for couple of points profit as found a better alternative - Ironveld which has quite a weighty valuation compared to the likes of Cardero on the TSX
