24/10/2018 08:53 | While in no way conclusive, perhaps a red flag here was the lack of insti involvement - only Octopus and Miton on the list of large shareholders. Stocko quality metric was also lowish. Some suspicious price activity even taking into account general market weakness | mammyoko

24/10/2018 08:47 | And to think I was sort of kicking myself for selling at a ~50% profit and leaving so much on the table from ATHs. That's why my first 3 indicators are price, price and price. Best of luck all. Might be a good buying opportunity for value investors. | from8to800

24/10/2018 08:24 | CFO conveniently bailed out earlier in the year. Look when his share lockin expired too... "Yü Group PLC, the independent supplier of gas and electricity to the UK corporate sector, announces that Nick Parker, who has been the Group's Chief Financial Officer since September 2015, has indicated to the Board his desire to step down from his role to pursue other opportunities. Nick played a major part in successfully delivering the IPO of Yü Group in March 2016 which laid the foundations needed to support the Group's continued rapid growth. Nick intends to leave the Group on 31 July 2018 but will continue to be available thereafter to ensure an orderly transition to his successor. An executive search agency has been appointed to identify suitable candidates and a further update will be provided in due course. Nick has entered into an orderly market agreement in relation to his holding of 500,000 ordinary shares (3.1% of the company's share capital) expiring on 18 September 2018." | phowdo

15/10/2018 16:28 | Just looking through various shares that I've held over the last year, to see if there are any bargains to be had. Bought and sold YU in August for a very small profit, and wondering if to buy again. I wouldn't worry about lack of broker forecasts; your guess will be as good as theirs if they were to hazard one. Re YU. Investors Chronicle said hold at 1140p in January, and hold again at 965p on 20th Sept; so as its now at 600p....... Then you would have to remember other classic recommendations from IC re Quindell and Conviviality etc etc etc. I would like to say that YU must be a buy now, it cant be far off the bottom????????? | nimrod22
15/10/2018 09:43 | A trawl through various websites relating to Bobby Kalar and Yu group over the weekend did reveal a few titbits, but nothing substantial. A few disgruntled ex employees, and comment on the high market cap. One article talked of comparisons between the valuation of Opus at takeover and current valuation. It appears to be an ever more competitive market with deregulation and the company will do well to retain, as well as gain new customers at the current rate. The overall impression I get is that shareholders should go away and look again in three or four years time. Otherwise take the hit and move on. | stewpot3
12/10/2018 16:42 | Can't make any sense of the recent price action here either to be honest. Looking at L2 a buy of 3000 shares this A.M. at 670p failed to move the price yet three small sells since have moved the price lower in each case, suggesting that the MM's are either short of stock or are otherwise trying to move the price down to fill an order perhaps? I am in since 200p but my last average up was at 1020p after placing so not happy to see price today more than 50% lower! Have reread all my notes and am reminded that ex C.F.O. held around 500K shares, albeit an orderly disposal was agreed at time of resignation whatever that means? I also see one or two other tiny red flags but nothing that concerns me greatly. All in all maybe a lack of broker forecasts might be contributing? I have 27p EPS for this year which gives a current P/E of under 20 at 640p after allowance for net cash of 112p/share which is exceptional value in my view? Any other constructive comments / observations are more than welcome be they +ve or otherwise. Good luck all holders. P.S. Does anyone have access to last Shore Capital note? | denisthamenis
12/10/2018 16:38 | This is getting slaughtered on very thin volume. I can only assume that it could go up equally as quickly in the other direction if a serious buyer came in. At the moment its not a falling knife, more a machete. | stewpot3
08/10/2018 16:30 | (Foolishly or not) bought another 1k shares this afternoon to try to average down... | brucey6onus |
