I think his salary is £394k which is about £350k too much imo! He and that other clown Hextall should be nowhere near their high positions here or anywhere else. Crashed the share price so they could load up with cheapo shares. Disgraceful!
They either constructed this situation on purpose or were incompetent and asleep at the wheel big time. Either way they deserve to GO!!

Totally agree with Major. Lynn gave himself a £100k rise last year, his wages I recall over £400k, £70k is nothing to them. Absolute thieves the lot of them.

That’s not my point, and I think you probably see that. No one should ever assume that a director buying shares makes a company a safe bet. I have seen companies go under with directors “buying shares with their own money”. The statement needed stress testing.

The problem with Ygen was the depth of discount. I have other holdings which have had placings at or even slightly above the market price. This was a massive and opportunistic shakedown, which lyn could have avoided by doing much earlier. He misjudged it, crashed us into the iceberg, and we narrowly avoided sinking. He’s a salesman, not a ceo.

That said, as you know, I have been buying. I believe in the technology and I hope the divestment and investment will now go through allowing the business to take off. The Ranger opportunities look considerable and nipt appears to have been making progress. Though that may be despite, rather than because of lyn’s antics. Otherwise why did the insti’s bolster the board? Rant over.

They even have a mobile PCR unit stationed at a prestigious client in Watford now. How many knew they even had a mobile PCR unit?

“Directors don't purchase shares with their own money in companies that fail.”

Hmmmm…

If memory serves it was less than a year ago our esteemed ceo bought 1 million shares at 7p, in a company which, without massive cash injection, would have failed.

certainly does depend on individuals b/e price and further, in the circumstances, on how much has been added to buy iro 0.3p Sales. (Not closing down sales one prays)In order for longtermers to stand s remote chance of reaching breakeven the decision to sink in and risk yet more funds became an absolute necessity!Track record does not inspire confidence when true nature of fundamentals is in direct contrast to the BS then silence. Still, inspite of this the man from BGF, the Director buying and the thought that even a Monkey would get it right on average once, so we are overdue!

It won't be as easy to mess up this time imo. They do have company on the Bod now with BGF at least. As for getting your money back or more, well that depends on your b/e. Luckily mine isn't too bad and I fully expect to make some profit here thanks to the cheap retail offer.

I certainly believe they can.it's been over 8 years of delays, litigation mess and over promise with shareholder destruction, to arrive currently at 0.38p!The question is can long term investors manage to at least come within touching distance of break even, which for many will be the best feasible result, IF the BOD now turn a history of failure into a unique form of success - returning most of the capital invested for long term shareholders.

Hope so Birdie. I’m just not sure Lyn is up to the job any more so let’s hope the new board member brings some heft. If I don’t think the ceo is up to it, I should prolly sell, so fully aware I’m taking a big risk.

Well, I now have nearly 10x the number of shares I had before the placing. As I’ve reached my target, you can rest assured the share price will plummet over the next week or two so apologies for that.

He needs about 2.22p to hit breakeven. I am sure he will get there too. I will be very happy at that price. He knows better than anyone what's coming here, hence all the directors buying plenty of shares. Follow the money.

Furthermore, the Company was notified on 17 January 2023 that Bill Chang purchased a further 13,000,000 Ordinary Shares on 17 January 2023 at a price of 0.43p per share.

Following the purchases, Bill Chang is interested in 302,920,142(1) Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 9.53 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Bill Chang has faith in YGEN to keep purchasing shares for himself, with his own money.

Let's keep the faith too
