Similar growth companies are fetching 8-10x revenue sale valuations. On a better firmer footing then maybe this can do likewise?

The problem is that holders’ hopes for a likely takeover price are often far detached from reality. Whilst I’d be delighted with 7p, I’d be amazed if we get anywhere near it. I’m crossing fingers for 3 or 4p. Birdie, I assume you mean the same and not three quarters of a penny. Which would be very depressing!

Capital raise completed – Opportunity knocks

Yourgene has raised £7.3m via a heavily discounted capital raise to support working capital and facilitate further cost saving measures. Additional sources of capital are being actively pursued, which would further strengthen the balance sheet. With the balance sheet position improving and growth in the core business returning, the cost base is being rightsized to deliver profitable growth. The pipeline of opportunities remains strong, with the principal challenge remaining converting these in a timely manner. We revise our forecasts prudently to the lower end of managements guidance, which we hope will provide scope for outperformance in due course. Our new TP is 1p, which represents material upside from the current share price.

Major, that is the only glimmer of light for those fortunate enough to have spare cash to buy at these placing levels to average down. Yes, the tech and products are very good and hopefully will drag this out of the gutter one day. CEO and CFO need axing though, and some would say jail time!
