12/1/2023 00:37 | At this rate it won't take long for the Newby short term traders to sell and move on hopefully. Lth who have bought recently and in the retail offer won't likely be selling anytime soon, as neither will the ii and directors. | birdie12
12/1/2023 00:26 | Admak, this could easily see £40/50M mcap in no time with some decent and regular newsflow. I think many are still seeing the rage to possibly see the opportunity here. Too many people cleverer tham me and in a much better position to see what's happening have bought a lot of shares. Ii increasing holdings, new ii coming on board. Directors gorging themselves. Just thought I would follow. As said , fortune favours the brave. | birdie12
11/1/2023 23:33 | As many have commented, ygen mgmt has blown the trust that old shareholders had. On a mega scale. Anyone buying now should be prepared to hold for a long while, as any slight rise will be sold into, big time. Mere retail investors may have a serious hard time in selling in such periods for any significant gain.Good luck. Fortune favours the brave, the saying goes. But not here for me any more. | admak
11/1/2023 23:05 | I just get the feeling now they have all devoured enough shares we will miraculously start seeing some rns. I will be very happy with the 3-4p this year Ngen! | birdie12
11/1/2023 22:38 | fair do's Ngenthe real issue for me is it a one rosy story after another that when delivered turns out to be another hiccup, or kick in the Nuts and repeat. So Many times I've lost count now. Anyone who wants to stay in the game has no choice but to invest more in Retail Offer or buy in market and pray!We all share your pain Ngen | twix386
11/1/2023 19:37 | It's the complete broadside to THEIR shareholders that gets me. Says a lot . Not even a slight inkling that this was on the cards. Never to be trusted again. | timojelly
11/1/2023 18:51 | Catch, fully understand your thoughts! LR AND BH should be gone asap, incompetence and negligence in the extreme. Not fit to hold office imo. The placing has been very well supported and BGF have increased their holding another 2.5% to 12.5% Of course now they have a seat on the board, which helps and will keep others there in line. Luckily I did sell most of my holding at 12p+ and after buying in the retail placing my average is now relatively very low and in a place where I believe I will get into good profit. They have plenty in the pipeline with Ambry etc just starting to get going. As for cash, they say they have enough for 12 months and I believe they will get this strategic investment they tried for, also selling the Taiwan outfit will also help. They are winning new Nipt contracts regularly, with more to come. I also think the Ranger tech will come good, as it's still pretty early since launch. They are/will be growing at 20%+ yearly, which is good. If nothing else it will hopefully be sold, but unfortunately not at numbers that will help LTH too much. As we know they are knocking a big hole in costs, so they are doing the things they should have done long ago. I think this disaster placing was only meant to be a backstop to getting this outside investment and divestment of Taiwan done in time. It obviously didn't happen so had to resort to this disaster placing. For me I see it as an opportunity, and with good news (expecting it fairly soon) this could climb quite quickly imo. As they say..follow the money as ii and directors have loaded up with much more skin in the game now. | birdie12
11/1/2023 17:41 | Birdie12: Good luck to you in your dealings with YGEN. I lost complete faith in the BOD which imho lacks integrity and has deceived investors on its trading position hence I will not invest further in YGEN. Like many PI's I have sustained losses having bought a decent holding on the potential particularly on US ranger prospects which the BOD continually talked up. Sadly I didnt sell on the declining share price however few if any expected a disaster fund raise at nominal value. Hopefully in time the share price will respond to better trading news but is unlikely to reach previous levels given the billions of shares now available! I am not certain whether £6.8m net raise is enough to get YGEN through the coming months unless testing volumes increase hugely and cost savings are realised. Good IP, good product range ruined by a growth at all costs strategy and a CFO who has failed to exercise any financial diligence on an obvious revenue and cashflow gap! | catch007
11/1/2023 16:28 | Hopefully the radio silence is a thing of the past. All new contracts and decent news etc will be rns. Wouldn't be surprised newsflow starts maybe as soon as next week, though it would be very suspicious looking so soon. | birdie12
11/1/2023 15:31 | Yes, hope so too. There is a decent company here with some very good products and IP.The dirty deed has been done and directors have now gorged on cheap shares.Anyone with spare cash to average down will probably have done. Anyone buying the retail shares are now selling for their few quid profit. Once they have gone it will get better. | birdie12
11/1/2023 14:58 | Ok good luck, not for me but hope it flies for you | tomzimerman
11/1/2023 14:15 | Volume £190k | timojelly
11/1/2023 14:01 | Plenty of people like ii and directors keep buying these. Now why would they do that?? | birdie12
11/1/2023 13:41 | Zen. You are aware he also bought 200Million shares in the placing. | birdie12
11/1/2023 13:38 | Bob,heard from who? | birdie12
11/1/2023 13:35 | You watch the good newsflow start soon... Hopefully!! Lol | birdie12
11/1/2023 13:31 | Multi bag here.BGF also buying more, which is a very good sign. Follow the money! | birdie12
11/1/2023 13:30 | Heard that there's a big. Buyer in background | bobaxe1
11/1/2023 12:27 | Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole bob, slammed existing investors by diluting to oblivion, now the pump to clear the placing shares. Management are horrific imho here | tomzimerman
11/1/2023 12:17 | Mkt cap is about £10 million at the moment I reckon. We need a lot more meat on the bone to progress any more. | timojelly
11/1/2023 12:09 | Bottom hit!// I was in this at 12 pennies a year or so ago unbelievable it could get this low | bobaxe1
11/1/2023 11:29 | 4m peanuts | zen12 |
