13/5/2022 08:17 | I suppose we have to accept that as well as buyers and sellers there are third parties known as market makers. | arcadian
12/5/2022 18:21 | >> Those drill results were from holes prodded into the already known JORC resource! << I don't normally get involved with the detail of asitis' constant anti-Colin diatribes, but on this occasion it is easy to demonstrate that he has never read an XTR RNS, or he is just plain lying. Below is a link to the drill plan for Racecourse, which was part of the RNS from 2 days ago. There are 49 holes. Only 13 are within the existing JORC area. The existing JORC is about 300K tons. Anyone who has actually done some research will know the company is aiming for 2mt or more and is very probably way past that point, based on those 49 holes They would also know that updating the JORC is the trigger point for an AA buyout, so there no sense in updating it until the drilling is completed, or it would just cost shareholders money. Asitis, you really are a most unpleasant individual who seems to spend his life trying to prevent anyone else having the success that has obviously been denied to you. I don't know how you can even look in the mirror each morning. Drilling plan link: | steve4077
12/5/2022 17:42 | and XTR doesn't have the cash to support a decision to mine. I think AA or any other major will sort of know that. Those drill results were from holes prodded into the already known JORC resource! Strange how the share price can spike when a cash raise is needed. | asitis
12/5/2022 15:24 | XTR got the licence "on the cheap", Asitis, because ProspectOre didn't have the cash to drill on Racecourse to increase the size of the deposit. The reason why the XTR share price spiked up 4 fold in January 2021 was because of XTR's excellent drill results. You know all this, Asitis, so stop being obtuse. Stop playing the dummy. For God's sake grow up and stop playing the fool. I've had enough of your nonsense. I'm putting you on filter | papillon
12/5/2022 14:03 | Not quite as ludicrous as constantly posting negative comments, most of them invented or deliberately misleading, on the forum of a share you don't even own. The phrase 'get a life' springs to mind. | steve4077
12/5/2022 13:55 | Bushranger was acquired (with a JORC) for around £1m which reflects its value to the market. Quite why all the rose tints in the echo chamber feel it is worth multiples of that is quite frankly ludicrous. | asitis
12/5/2022 13:15 | "They will do good deals to suit their shareholders." Of course. Now you're stating the bleeding obvious! I have no idea if AA will buy the Bushranger licence. I also have no idea how much XTR will get if they do manage to sell the licence. However at the current Mkt Cap XTR looks cheap to me based on it's assets in Africa and Australia. You, Asitis, obviously don't think so; or perhaps you do and enjoy having a dig at CB. Fair enough, whatever your motives, they don't influence me. | papillon
12/5/2022 11:46 | I just posted the following on the ARCM bb (I do have a small ARCM holding) papillon12 May '22 - 12:16 - 6936 of 6937 Edit 0 3 0 There was a gap up this morning that might need to be filled. That often happens (though not always). I'm not surprised by today's share price reaction to the news. Look at GGP. When they announced a similar deal with a major back in the summer of 2019 the share price didn't start to take off until early in 2020 following the first drill results which were excellent. Thereafter, following more drill results, the share price multi-bagged. In the space of 12 months the GGP share price multiplied 25 fold. >>>>> Of course the difference between ARCM & XTR is that XTR have already done lots of drilling on their Bushranger licence and have produced some excellent results. PS goforgold1 is talking out of his backside again. The XTR chart is bullish and has held up well during this general market downturn. Also the Racecourse & Ascot grades are more than acceptable for this type of deposit. Combine that with the potential size of the Racecourse & Ascot deposits and open pit mining and it's easy to see why the XTR chart is still bullish. PS add in the XTR African producing plus other assets and XTR looks cheap to me | papillon
12/5/2022 10:46 | Its not AA's responsibility to deliver what looks like over promise to XTR shareholders. Nor is it their responsibility to fix the global copper shortage. They will do good deals to suit their shareholders. | asitis
12/5/2022 08:39 | Don't be a spoilsport Sharestar. Spare a thought for the naysayers' feelings. | zero matrix
12/5/2022 08:26 | So AA are not big enough, or wealthy enough, to buy Bushranger as well as do a deal with ARCM? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣. Don't be so stupid, Asitis! You plonker!! 🤣 🤣 PS I've got a small shareholding in ARCM as well as a larger one in XTR. | papillon
12/5/2022 08:18 | Manica looks like it is ready to go. XTR about to take off! | sharestar5
12/5/2022 08:14 | Looks like AA have chosen ARCM over XTR for their copper acquisition. Oh dear. | asitis
11/5/2022 21:25 | free stock charts from uk.advfn.com 5 year XTR log chart. It shows a couple of possible uptrends. A longer term uptrend and a recent shorter term one. Obviously a bit of wishful thinking on my part. I will find it interesting to see what actually happens to the XTR share price over the next 12 months and how far my log charts deviate from fact. | papillon
11/5/2022 20:51 | Is the pond in the Empress photos full?? | sharestar5
11/5/2022 20:19 | I briefly saw the movement yesterday and the only assumption I could make was that title was faulty, or similar. The movement may have been market sentiment aided and abetted by the RNS, which, superficially read, looks thin. The markets are fickle at the moment and it is hardly surprising with the context of two dictatorships taking poor decisions. It would be nice if CB would get the news flow moving to confirm that there are no obstacles to generating the next conceptual Race Course pit. I felt that June was more likely but I now think that is optimistic. | the diddymen
11/5/2022 15:55 | Could be a good time to buy. RSI starting to rise again (from an oversold position). Are we about to see the share price replicate what happened 2 months ago and observe the share price rise from a low of circa 5p to 7p in 4 weeks? The share price appears to be going sideways, since early in January, in a rectangular pattern between 5p and 7p. A breakout of that pattern should see a new high of 9p+, or a return to the low of 3p of just under a year ago. The bullish nature of the chart indicates the former to me. I suspect that a breakout from this rectangular pattern will only occur following news. When that news is issued is anybodies guess. I suspect either this month, or if not then in June. | papillon
11/5/2022 15:17 | 👍 I agree with you, TCofMC. CB is a completely different animal to me! I'm a lazy barsteward by comparison! 🤣 | papillon
11/5/2022 14:24 | From listening to him and reading a lot of books about mine finders, this is my take.. Why would you retire from something that you love doing? He has got gold fever (mining fever) and loves the thrill of the chase, of discovering something, with his teams, which nobody else has ever found. Of making deals and doing business. It's difficult to explain, but the best way to understand it is to watch some of those Discovery tv series of the guys in Alaska or Australia who are finding gold nuggets and how they get gold fever. It's a treasure hunt, and finding that treasure is very exciting. It's also about a legacy, the Busranger project will probably be producing ore decades into the future, when CB has long since departed this world and when some on here may also not be around, these big mines can go on for 50 or more years. That's something to be proud of being a part of and making happen. It's a little bit sad that back in the UK such people don't get more acclaim. He isn't liked by all, but what successful business people or people who have achieved a lot are!? CB the "Fred Dibnah" of mine finding:) As investors, we are part of these stories, investing in places all over the world, from Botswana to the frozen wastes of the Alaskan north slope. Without our speculations and investments, these small caps wouldn't be able to do what they do. | the count of monte_cristo
11/5/2022 14:14 | Regarding Colin Bird, he made £37m from his KIW shareholding when the company was sold back in late 2009. Don't know why he didn't retire from business then. In fact he's done the exact opposite going by the number of companies he now runs! | papillon
11/5/2022 14:13 | Bird lifts the share price to 7p+ with all the talk about getting it done by May. 30%+ down since then raises a few questions. | asitis
11/5/2022 10:50 | When this is over I`m going to make sure that ........... Colin my fellow Yorkshireman enjoys a good tipple ( om top of all his shares, options etc of course so maybe he might be able to afford one for me. I do hope so.). | arcadian |
