Not made anything yet sold nothing Pap, bit more to come there yet, but wish I took a small amount off the table with AMC but will stick it out for the end game feel we will get taken out sometime down the line // Still waiting for the TEO maybe that's why a bid came knowing its due anytime.

It`s such a pity if those selling maybe through previous disappointment don`t take the time to look at more recent developments and ponder on the potential with the purchase of Bushranger.

Fresh discoveries are being made at Racecourse and since the purchase we have Ascot as a bonus. Demand for copper is growing and to top it all we have a boss who really wants to sell. Why go now with such near term potential?

Chesty please do us all a favour and crawl back under the rock you came from until this share reaches double figures unless you have anything constructive to share. It’s now failed at 6p again. Here’s hoping for a higher low over the next few days.

O/T Congratulations to Avsome1968. He's made 50% on paper in less than a month backing ARCM (up 27% today). Well done buddy.

My turn will come, no doubt about it, with XTR. Just requires a bit of patience.

Couple of large trades just showed up. Reporting delayed by MM's. One for 375k and the other for 370k. Even though one can currently buy below the arbitrary mid price (I know because I just had a small top up) these 2 trades are definitely sells going by their prices and time.
There are another couple of 300k trades so far today. They could be buys, or sells. Maybe a buy and a sell?
There are obviously large sellers still around, but we'll never be sure who they are. Hopefully when this large selling dries up the 6p resistance will be broken. Considering the large selling still taking place the XTR share price is holding up remarkably well.

Who says the 1.25's are still here ? There weren't that many of them compared to much higher volume over the last year or so. I posted the figs a little back.

Let the battle commence. Some big trades going through both ways, seller is back but there’s a buyer as well. Looking for consolidation without going negative would be good.
We don’t need any RNS there’s enough info out there to make your mind up.

If we accept that the past is another country and they do things differently there we cannot escape the present where ESG is tightening the availability of good sites in good locations where there is local support. Add open mining and large quantities and we can see why CB is confident about BR.

The wind is at our back as we walk towards Ascot and while much of the detail has yet to be added in the coming months, there is enough to make CB confident of a good deal and we must trust his experience and his desire to get the best deal for the ordinary shareholders.

He`s a Yorkshireman so he will.

I'm not sure Kiwara's price at (on my calcs and the copper price was all over the place in 2009) less than 1% in-ground (for an open pit inferred resource) was a particularly good one, especially as the deal (which was to buy the company, not just th project) also included 'promising' nickel and uranium projects. Not only that but the Kalumbila copper project at that stage was showing 0.75% copper grades. This is here and now. That was there and then just before the 2010-11 minigboom. You can't compare the two, and as far as I'm concerned to sell BR for less than 1% in ground woudn't be acceptable.

Yep, smack bang in the middle of the pristine Alaskan tundra. Not a chance of ever getting its permits in an ever decreasing social acceptance of these type of developments in environmentally sensitive regions. Bushranger in NSW on the other hand is far at the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of tolerances and with a government that will actively support copper mining.

Yeah, and they are also going to release a "decision to mine" plan concurrently, that's a significant event because it is exactly what it means a "decision to mine". So unlike SOLG, who are probably still a decade away from their first production, we are years closer. Personally, I think from the release of the decision to mine plan, the mine could be in production 3-5 years from that point (for whoever takes over Bushranger). Which is actually very quick in mining terms. Our project is not in some jungle or on a mountain in the middle of an arid desert, or has water rights issues, or environmental tribal groups fighting over the legitimacy of the mine and environmental impacts, all of which adds value to our project, actually tremendous value. Look at the Pebble project in Alaska, the largest undeveloped copper-gold deposit on the planet, can't get a license to mine and has been stalled for almost two decades, will probably never become a mine.

Most of us on here do differing levels of research, but there are only one or two with the full background.

My understanding, researched but no background, is that there is relativity to the drill data. If you have a complicated mineral structure that will be exploited by underground mining then you need substantial drilling to understand the value of the deposit, to maximise extraction and to minimise costs.

At the other end of the scale you have a homogenous mineral resource which will be open cast mined.

XTR sits towards the latter.

The negotiations with AA or another will be based on the quality of the data, and commercial judgement will be central to defining how much. There will be a diminishing value to data but that is commercial judgement.

CB is Executive Chairman of XTR. We have invested in XTR in the full knowledge of CB's role, and unless we become an active shareholder base, then CB's decisions will prevail. In my view he is the only commercial option.

SOLG released an MRE for Porvenir with less than 19k metres drilled (Bushranger is around 25k by now) and it was 80% indicated and only 20% inferred. Deposit size including both was just under 500 mt, so in the ballpark for likely racecourse size.

Lurker, there has been much infill drilling at racecourse for a significant amount to be converted to indicated. The loosely inferred resource at Ascot along with the comparative geophys will support a good degree of geological confidence that Ascot is pay. Will add considerable value to the resource package.
