19/10/2021 03:38 | Dear All in Eol, please can you add the below company presentation to the header? Slide 11 - This is my favourite slide in the presentation, now they are actively stating that it's not just a target of 500mt, but a target of double that to be a 1bt copper project. Very, very exciting that! CB mentioned in one of his recent interviews that he "was in Sweden recently looking at the Aitik Mine", now we know why, see slide 12. The reason for his visit would seem to be obvious, he was there to understand more about the design and build of a mine, in order to help move the plan to mine forward for Bushranger. Remember two events trigger the AA right to buy-in/acquire. Aitik is a low grade copper deposit at 0.24% but run very efficiently, worth researching it. | ![]() the count of monte_cristo

18/10/2021 11:54 | Foran Mining, capped at $574m Canadian dollars, 337m GBP. They have a small high grade resource, compared with the very large low grade porphyry type deposits like Bushranger. | ![]() the count of monte_cristo
18/10/2021 08:46 | With the copper price pushing ever higher and with the news flow from the company I think we might see an assault on 6p shortly. | ![]() the count of monte_cristo
17/10/2021 23:52 | free stock charts from uk.advfn.com The XTR chart is currently looking very similar to that at the end of last year (compare the positions of the EMA's and the share price at the 2 arrows). Whilst I'm not suggesting we will see another circa 8 fold rise in the share price on a dramatic spike up like happened around 10 months ago I feel the share price is poised for further big gains on the upcoming news. I'm not suggesting XTR leaks, however it seems rather opportune that the share price was already rising strongly before the spike up on the brilliant exploration news in January. Perhaps far more knowledgeable investors than me had correctly forecast that news? Perhaps they just got lucky? A possible short term target sp, based on EWT, is 12-15p. Fingers crossed, as always. I can hardly contain my excitement! 😁 | ![]() papillon
17/10/2021 21:02 | I would have thought that the hole 20/21 RNS will be out very shortly. The only question though will be whether there is an early reference to hole 22/23. Presumably there will also be more on the assays as the sausage machine continues. 22/23 will be a seminal moment and the assay just as important. If the assay is taking 2 months from hole completion it should be in just in time for Christmas. | ![]() the diddymen
17/10/2021 19:35 | I've just been accused of ramping XTR on the other thread, by a poster who has a history of knocking both XTR and CB ever since he joined advfn. I've never ramped XTR, but it is my largest holding in my rather modest portfolio so I'm hardly going to be unbiased when it comes to XTR. Here is my reply to SwingBySome on the other thread. I've got news for you SwingBySome. I HAVE NEVER RAMPED XTR ON THIS CHAT SITE! IF YOU BELIEVE I HAVE PLEASE PROVIDE THE PROOF! DON'T MAKE ACCUSATIONS YOU CAN'T BACK UP WITH FACTS! PS I know nothing about mining, though I do know that copper is going to be in demand based on the "green revolution" and forthcoming infrastructure spending. I have shares in a number of copper miners and explorers. I go by the charts and the XTR chart is currently very bullish IMHO. | ![]() papillon

17/10/2021 09:06 | papilion I don't think anyone's got a grudge against Mr. Bird . We know he say's there'll be no need for further placing then soon afterwards one appears . There again those last two placings totally £10m probably still have a huge overhang being working into the market . Or are you forgetting the miniscule trade volume prior to them compared to now . With Mozambique going into the rainy season the small amount of hard rock produced isn't going to fund further bushranger drilling programs . Which for some unknown reason isn't producing results that historical data said was there . You may ramp this company all day long on this chat site and every other chat site but the grades aren't there . Not for getting fuel is rising in price hence large volume low grade mining is going to look a lot less attractive in coming years | ![]() swingbysome
17/10/2021 08:28 | 'News' on LSE - seen posts. The point re holes 22 and 23 is that CB will have had a pretty good oral brief on the outcome, or near outcome, of these holes before the shareholder briefing. While one can never be certain, in this case I would calibrate CB's comments at the shareholder meeting on the basis that he had reasonable evidence of what sits in the SE anomaly. In terms of short term price movement holes 20/21 are almost irrelevant now! | ![]() the diddymen

16/10/2021 19:36 | I've edited my previous post. There are 1000 kilos in a metric tonnes not 100! I just missed off a zero. I find it difficult typing on a mobile phone! | ![]() papillon

16/10/2021 15:12 | I should have realised 240m tonnes was a ludicrous figure! I shouldn't have stopped taking the tablets! 🤣 | ![]() papillon
16/10/2021 14:39 | Profuse apologies, meanreverter. I should have noticed that the auther of the article had gone from kgs to tonnes without adjusting for the change, there being 1000 kils in a metric ton. My only excuse is senile old age! 🤔 | ![]() papillon
16/10/2021 14:22 | You are of course correct, meanreverter. I should have noticed that the author of the article has changed from kgs to tonnes without adjusting for the change. | ![]() papillon
16/10/2021 13:02 | papillon: I appreciate that you just copied (sportbilly1976's copy of) the share price Angel article, and the mistake probably originates with John Meyer. It seems that he forgot to convert from kilograms to tonnes. But that that doesn't excuse him: the "240 million tonnes of copper" is so wildly absurd that it should have spurred him to check his calculation. | ![]() meanreverter
16/10/2021 11:32 | Paps I think that there will be some very broad assumptions on the distance from the windfarm to the connection to the grid in the PXC document. THe figure will probably be conservative in the sense it will use more copper. The bottom line is still the same, the demand for copper will go up subject to normal caveats on the economy. | ![]() the diddymen
16/10/2021 10:24 | I'm afraid you're wrong meanreverter. 8x1000x1000x30=240 million tonnes of copper, meanreverter. It's a staggering amount of copper, but the figure is correct A giga is 1000 x a mega. I hope I've got it right as I 've got a degree in maths. 🤣 PS I only copied the article from the PXC thread | ![]() papillon
16/10/2021 08:50 | papillon: "The IEA estimate about 8,000kg of copper is used per MW making wind farms the most copper intensive renewable power technology projects • 30GW of wind could potentially consume 240 million tonnes of copper ..." If the first statement is true, then the second should read "30GW of wind could potentially consume 240 thousand tonnes of copper ..." | ![]() meanreverter
16/10/2021 07:26 | As context to the presentation on 14th Oct. I think that someone posted that hole 20 and 21 were underway on 28 Sept per the RNS of that day. At the average rate of drilling since the start of the second phase, the first two holes in the SE anomaly would have been near completion or completed by the time Colin Bird spoke on 14th. He would have received a preliminary assessment Given CB's upbeat tone this should derisk the hole 22/23 RNS that will follow a week or so after the imminent 20/21 RNS. | ![]() the diddymen |
