busterdog - depends on who you talk to, the way i see it is that Catena need a monster acquisition and Xl would be the only really monster for them that could work, small thing is that Catena would need an ungodly amount of money to buy us and the way our market CAP is growing that might be a big ask.

i doubt we could be sold for under 300p a share right now.

Shaun - I've mixed feeling about the Catena article. Does the acquisition make it less likely that they will bid for XLM? How much of a threat is Catena's growth to XLM's market share?

Meanwhile the price action still looks good, with the share price continuing to end at intra-day highs on successive days. Although the chart is getting worryingly parabolic, in the short term price could burst higher still. Up 25% since my call 2 weeks ago (6432), although I would be surprised if anyone paid it any heed! Hahaha!

500p would give us a market cap of £1 Billion which is more like it. Ory will have his eyes on targets such as that for starters. Why choose to be acquired when nothing or nobody stands in your way.

Touched $0.1 briefly which is next target to break through.

Not sure if there are many candidates to buy XLM since it is such an "off-beat" business model and also based in a number of geographical locations (US, Scandinavia, Romania etc). Also diversification into the price comparison arena (Greedyrates) and online payment may act as a bit of a poison pill. Probably not worth buying to sell off parts as these are all relatively small. Also I suspect that management would reject a bid of 250p. All imho of course!

Hope not Malcolmm. This can go far further than £2.50. I can't see any limit on the growth of XLM which is a rare beast indeed. £2.50 would be a giveaway in the current climate. Personally I think Ory has his sights on a far greater prize.
